Recommended by Fooligan Eats. The diner was clean and bright on this very chilly morning. Vintage colors of teal and orange. Breakfast this morning was their Sweet Cream Pecan Waffle and holy wow! I could smell it before it landed on my plate! Choice of one egg and three different meats so I went with eggs over medium with links. Food service was very quick. Wait staff wasvery attentive to ensure my coffee mug wasn’t more than half empty. Flavored creamers would have been a nice option as well as real sugar instead of sweetener. Not a deal breaker.
The waffle was big n fluffy with a generous portion of chopped pecans. It was the sweet cream batter that was the star. Rich, smooth, and subtle that didn’t compete with the maple syrup but you could still discern it with every bite. I will definitely return!

I’ve wanted to try this gem for years, and it lived up to my expectations! I imagined it to be a quaint greasy spoon diner with yummy, no-nonsense food—and it was! From fun blue vinyl/leather seats to windows galore, and friendly staff, the environment was inviting, a place you want to return to. I ordered a quarter pound burger and pumpkin cookie with delicious cream cheese frosting based on the server’s recommendations and was pleased with the taste. I also remarked that I hadn’t been before and was gifted a free donut as a first-timer! I’ll be back even without a free donut

Authentically the best diner in Omaha. It’s not even worth discussing. Serving great food and smiles in the most historic area of the city since 1968.
Fun Fact: you can enjoy your “Koffee” in the same booth where they filmed Jack Nicholson in the movie About Schmidt.

Had some friends in town, and being relatively newish to Omaha, this was a breakfast place that’s been on my list. Think of breakfast diner, but the food is solid! Looks very popular w the locals. The biscuits and gravy were well made with gravy galore! The three of us all agreed this place is worthy!

Great diner breakfast! Great atmosphere! Super fast and friendly service. We got in a little late to get a cinnamon roll, but was able to grab an I house made donut and it was fantastic.

I liked this place. I had the pancake, egg, and sausage combo with a side of homemade hash browns. The pancake was large, tasty, and went well with syrup. The hash browns had a nice balance of crispiness and softness. Portions were generous, and the staff was friendly and working hard, even though it was busy.

This place is awesome. Old school diner. Great coffee, big portions. Homemade donuts, cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, and pies. Maybe the best country fried steak and gravy I’ve ever had.

So on our way home to California we had about 1 hour to burn and decided to get some quick food. We almost went to Jimmi Johns down the street and glad we did not. Went in around 1pm got corned beef hash coffee and it was pretty darn good. Simple food well cooked and enjoyed. Waitress was friendly and attentive. felt bad there was a pregnant lady working but got to do what you need to do to make ends meet. Wish I had a dinner like this where I live. On way out waitress gave me and my boy a day old doughnut and it was delicious. Would not hesitate to stop by again. Please dont change anythign..
