Went here for dinner and loved it!! Food was delicious, drinks were good and strong, and the service was great. They also have mild and spicy salsa which I appreciate because most places don’t give you an option.

First time here. Overall, the experience was great. The service was absolutely phenomenal. Daniela, our waitress, was absolutely amazing. She was on top of our every need without even having to ask. We got the enchiladas and the flavor was very good. The price was also very reasonable. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the food came out luke warm and the elotes was not very fresh. I’ll be back again though.

The atmosphere and decor is friendly and welcoming. The cheese dip appetizer was my favorite but I thought the food was bland. I asked for recommendations from the server since I had never been here and she seemed hesitant to know what to recommend. However, I tried the chicken enchilada and the chicken was just bland and didn’t have much flavor or seasoning. It was worth a try but probably would not return to this Mexican restaurant.

This place was amazing. The food was outstanding and the margaritas were perfect. The food portions were very generous and we were stuffed (we even had a nice lunch from the leftovers the next day.) This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant!

Nixtamal is a great spot with some standout flavors. The guacamole with chicharrón was absolutely amazing—fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced, with the chicharrón adding an incredible crunch and depth of flavor. That dish alone is worth coming back for. Overall a solid experience, and I’d definitely recommend stopping in, especially if you’re a guacamole fan.

First time dinning here and the atmosphere is so welcoming and the decor is beautiful. The drinks and food are really good I got the tacos and the meat was very flavorful. The burrito bandera was also delicious. My server Lucy was very friendly I would really recommend it!!!

My husband ordered over the phone, and he went to pick it up. When he got back, the food looked good. Unfortunately, the meat was dry, not seasoned and chewy. I received 3, but I had to dress one up with sauce, lemon juice, and sour cream. Did that work? No, but I definitely will not be eating the other two.
The guacamole did not look fresh AT ALL. Looked like it was sitting out, maybe possibly someone else’s order, but they never picked it up. Also looked like it was slightly eaten: Im not saying it was, but it looked like it. Completly bland, there was no salt, pepper, or anything that they put in it like when they make it in front of you.
I’m genuinely hurt by what I received.

Great environment. Great service. Great food. I enjoy being greeted by staff and how friendly and welcoming they are each time I come. If in the area stop by and sit at the bar, Juan is the best.

Usually very happy with food and service, but very disappointed after today’s visit. My fiancé went to order and service was rude and rushed, and this was the food we were given. Was supposed to be veggie taco (beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese, light onion). Didn’t even crumble the queso fresco, missing toppings, and had a horrible smell—very poor quality, which isn’t typical. Sadly this experience left a bad enough taste in our mouths to not want to come back and warn others (employee we worked with became frustrated with modifications and food came out very poorly).
