Had a wonderful breakfast. The orange juice is very popular and delicious! They add tip to total of check and don’t tell you about that. Please review your receipt and you will see 20% automatic gratuity added, so make sure you don’t double Tip.

I’ve been there weekday and weekend. Weekday is a fast entry and no complaint about guest service. Weekend is a different story, longer wait times, food might take a little longer than usuan to get to your table due to busy hours. Keep in mind that they have live marimba from 12pm-3pm. The atmosphere there is great. They make you feel like you are part of their family. Food is delicious. Everything here tastes just like home. It is very delicious! I recommend going either weekday or weekend. You will not be dissapointed.

They served me VERY UNCOOKED chicken.
I’m being VERY generous by giving 2 stars…I’m only giving them because I enjoyed the platanos. My mother brought me home a pollo guisado plate – which I was excited about because as a Guatemalan woman, I enjoy eating good Guatemalan food. However, this plate had practically raw chicken and the rice tasted terrible. I was very disappointed with my meal. My mother went to this restaurant with a friend who happens to be black and they were treated with terrible service as well.
Just go to Antigua Bread if you want good Guatemalan food.

We wanted to go have dinner and drinks and decided to go to Amalias. Worst decision ever the service we got was unacceptable the server never came to take our order and when she finally came it took a long time for us to get our drinks. She never came to check on us or see how we were doing when ever we needed something we had to keep flagging someone down. The table was full of plates and cups that never got picked up. But when it came to pay the bill of course she had already added the tip. Definitely never going back again.

Was driving late night around the area and decided to check out these Guatemala place plates are delicious. Beef was juicy and very well presentation Saturdays. They have live music so it might be loud. Definitely a nice family restaurant. I will recommend for you to try the Churrasco.

Food is always outstanding every time I come service could be better. Waiters aren’t very attentive but would still come back for the food. Also on weekends they have different forms of entertainment from DJ to live entertainment

It’s a very good place to come and eat one of Guatemala’s authentic foods. My husband and I came last year when I was pregnant, and decided to come back again now with my 2 babies, and didn’t fail us still. Food is still delicious and fast service. Waitresses were really polite and attentive. Would truly recommend it guys. A little pricy on some items for my behalf but neither the less, everything is great!!
