I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the cashiers at BBOP. My family’s first experience at the restaurant was marred by his unprofessionalism.
As a family originally from Texas relocating to Iowa, we were seeking a reputable burger establishment and were recommended BBOP as one of the best in the state. However, the cashier’s actions were unacceptable. He took our order but neglected to inquire about the soda flavor for each of the combos.
Upon approaching the window, I inquired about the inclusion of soda with the combos. The cashier responded with a lack of knowledge, which was followed by a rude and dismissive attitude. He proceeded to deliver our order without the requested items.
My wife had to disembark from the vehicle and confront the manager in the frigid weather. This incident has left us deeply disappointed and questioning the overall quality of the establishment.

Bbops has the best hamburgers. They remind me of my childhood favorite restaurant. Love their drive thru. You can order from the driver’s side or passenger side. How smart. This one has some outdoor eating but no dine in area.

Traveling through and decided to stop here. I thought it would more like a Checkers or Rallys due to the design and drive thru set up. It was more like Burger King as far as the taste of the food goes. Service was wonderful and we got our food fast using the drive thru. Our food was hot and the entire order was correct(we made mods to our orders). I’d rate the food as average for a fast food joint.

Burgers and fries looked good and were hot, but we both felt sick for hours after we ate. Person at the window should probably be the last person of their crew to be greeting customers…just my opinion.

Cold burgers. Like, not even warm. COLD. Both of them. It was 1130, so during the lunch rush as well. Very disappointed. First time having Bbops and I won’t be back. However, the fries were hot and fresh.

I think Ankeny has the best B-Bops in the Des Moines Metro. They have a special that is unique to their location, and it’s called Maniac Mondays, and it’s a deal on the quarter-pound burger with cheese. It’s a great deal with great fries and a good soft drink, and the Burger is one of the best that’s offered by any fast food location. Customer service is fast and professional. I recommend B-Bops Ankeny on Mondays for their deal.
