I got the sausage egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast and it was delicious. The sandwich cost me around 5$ with tax and the cashier Brooklyn was very nice! I would recommend this place for a cheap easy meal!

Just tried Hardee’s for the first time today and was very impressed! I had the double bacon biscuit and it was delicious, plus I got a kick out of how the biscuit was in the shape of a heart. Probably because this location is in a love’s. Only thing I would change is maybe cook the sandwich another 10 to 15 seconds, my sandwich was warm and good just would have liked it hotter. Thanks for the great breakfast!

Memories! I haven’t been to Hardee’s in decades and it is better than I remembered.
– Super Star Cheeseburger – $9.39: Very large burger. Well balanced with toppings, but might need a bigger bun. It was super messy and came with a LOT of sauces. Delicious, though.
The burger patty was charbroiled and tasted like it was off a charcoal grill in a backyard (I didn’t see one in the kitchen, HA HA). There was therefore less fat, but still decently juicy. Overall, the burger quality was better than I was expecting. Worth a try.
Was it a value? I paid more for this sandwich than the below combo which had two sandwiches, fries, and drink. Considering the sandwiches in the combo were small and the Super Star fairly large, I do think the comparison is unfair. However, paying almost $10 for one sandwich at a fast food place was a little high. I say that having visited more than a hundred places and eating more than a hundred burgers last year alone. Inflation does factor in, though.
– Hardee’s Original Bag Meal – $6.99: I was specifically looking for the ham and cheese and this deal was a great one to get it. You can choose one of two: the Hot Ham ‘N’ Cheese, Double Cheeseburger, or Chicken Tender Wrap (choose your flavor). It includes fries and a drink. You can also choose two of the same sandwich or wrap if that is your preference, too. This I do think was fairly priced.
– Double Cheeseburger – (part of combo): Small. I asked ahead of time and they confirmed they are one-tenth pound patties. The patties were a bit drier than the Super Star I got.
There was also a lot less sauce. The ketchup was lacking a bit and the mustard came through in the taste a lot more. Not bad like Freddy’s, but more of an emphasis change. There were a few onions on the bottom bun which I was pleasantly surprised to see. Overall, it was good.
– Regular Hot Ham and Cheese – (part of combo): This was the memory trigger. When a kid, we would get these. They were actually better than I remember. They must have improved the quality of the ham or the cheese. Either that, or there was a lot of nostalgia sauce on it (HA HA). This was the first thing I bit into as well. It was probably my favorite.
– Small Fries – (part of combo): The fries must have also improved over the years. They were great quality for fast food and had a bit of some added flavor and texture, almost like batter, but I don’t think it was that. They are skin-on fries, but it is so slight, you barely notice it. I don’t think kids would have issues with it. They are medium cut and were cooked perfectly, not too dark, not too light. They were medium to light crispy, but soft in the middle. The small was actually plenty big enough.
– Coke – (part of combo): For a fountain drink machine, this was an 8.5 out of 10. Slightly less fizz, but not bad at all. I am not complaining, but it could use a tiny adjustment. I filled up on the way out, which I don’t normally do. Plenty good enough.
– Service: They guided me through the order and were helpful. They were plenty kind and chipper today, too. They answered all my questions informatively.
– Atmosphere: Very clean. The only table I noticed dirty was the one that was VERY recently vacated. The fountain drink machine could have used a little wipe down, but that’s it. Everything was otherwise welcoming and in order.
The lighting was on the darker side, but enough to see. The tables were wood. The “booths” looked like cloth, but were actually plastic. The walls have local photos of the windmill and lighthouse, which is really cool.
– Conclusion: I would actually highly recommend them for a fast food place. I would love to see more Hardee’s than some of the others.

First time here and not impressed (nor disappointed as my expectations weren’t high). Roast beef bun tasted better than the other roast beef fast food place, as it tasted higher quality. The beef was average. The fries were average, but good. Lastly, I was impressed by the customer service, as there was a lengthy wait and when it was my turn to order, the cashier gave me a free cookie for my patience! The cookie tasted better than average, especially for a fast food joint.
Came back a second time and got their chicken sandwich. That was really good and I’d recommend that!

Just went thru the drive-thru on Adams Street. Ordered a double big cheeseburger combo. The hamburger is raw. Tried to call them and was on hold for 15 minutes a day gave up. Watch out for their food.

Brand new Hardees in the new Loves Travel Centre. Ordered my usual 3 piece chicken tenders meal with side salad and medium drink. Everything was clean and staff were very happy, bubbly etc..

The food was amazing as always, although the counter worker had a big time “get through your order and get out of here” vibe. I do fast food myself so I know it’s a pain, especially at a truck stop, but there were moments where they were even snappy.
