Here’s a cleaner, nicely flowing rewrite:
Fun spot for breakfast! We enjoyed our meals—especially the Belgian waffle and over-easy eggs. Big thanks to our server for handling our group of 14 (including 3 kids). The misses were the medium steak, which was dry and lacked flavor, the home fries, which could’ve used more seasoning and color, and the S and S wings; they were heavily covered with sauce which made it hard to experience the desired crunch of the slightly crispy skin.

On a winter Sunday AM the restaurant was busy but we were seated in a few minutes. Atmosphere was friendly and energetic, though not too noisy for good conversation. Brunch menu was as creative and appealing as I recalled from my last visit years ago. Was seeking time with a friend, so the relaxed pace in receiving our meals worked well for us, with lots of good coffee served while we awaited food. Entrees were each more than $15 but platters were plentiful and tasty. Our waitress was happy to make the substitutions we each asked for. We enjoyed terrific eggs benedict with lox over potato pancakes with fruit salad and an option for bagel and cream cheese or toast included. My friend had the french toast stuffed with fig jam and brie, veggie sausage subbed for bacon, and fresh fruit cup. She proclaimed this the best meal she’d had in ages. Lots of great choices for breakfast, lunch, or dessert. Waitress was very encouraging that we stay as long as we liked. We even got a parking space in the small, free lot out front. We were 100% pleased!

If you’re looking for a place where you can spend a reasonable amount of money to get into a food coma by consuming as much fried seafood as you could, this place is probably what you’re looking for. I didn’t feel great after but the fried seafood platter and clam chowder made it worth it. Our waitress was super nice too!

Get the S&S wings!! The sauce is great, a little sweet not really spicy. Wings came out piping hot and super fast. Staff was friendly and made sure to provide plenty of napkins and wet naps. I look forward to coming back!

A nostalgic deli experience in Inman Square.
As the oldest restaurant in Cambridge, S&S has cemented its status as a beloved local spot that serves a wide range of classic deli fares. l came here for lunch a few times and always had a satisfying experience.
Among the appetizers, the Chopped Liver was my favorite. Although it was unexpectedly paired with pineapple and melon slices – a combination that didn’t entirely complement the inherent sweetness of the liver spread – it was still enjoyable when paired with crackers and red onions. Bathed in their signature sauce, the S&S Fried Shrimp was also good. The sauce leaned more towards sweet rather than spicy, but the jumbo shrimp was still nice and crispy.
The Seared Tuna Salad was fairly basic, but with its generous portions, it was an ideal choice for a hearty meal. Corned Beef Reuben came with perfectly toasted marble rye bread, and the corned beef itself was solid.
One of the biggest perk of S&S is their own free parking lot, but empty spaces might be hard to come by during peak lunch hours.
Overall, a great spot that provides a slice of the city’s culinary history with the timeless appeal of a classic deli. If you’re looking for a comforting meal with a warm, nostalgic atmosphere, I highly recommend giving them a try.

The portions were so big and soooo yummy! The service was very slow despite the place being kinda empty, but Pat(our server) was really nice. This place feels very homey and old fashioned. The prices are pretty good for the food portions
I got the corned beef hash (favorite), Ma’s brunch pizza (so yum), Parisian French toast, Bavarian French toast

Solid diner experience in the middle of Inman Square with parking (that is a big luxury for that area). Huge menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, lots of choices for everyone. They can accomodate specific changes in your order. Dining area is huge. Great pmace for large parties. I saw many family and friends group choosing this location for brunch. Affordable prices. They close pretty early in the evenings. Check out the hours before your dinner plans.

Nice spot in the middle of Cambridge. Foods was good, American dinner style, I would say. The portions are big, you get toast, fries and fruit with most dishes on brunch menu.

Always a wonderful experience. There is a beautiful timelessness to this place, and my partner absolutely loves it because he spent a lot of time here in his younger years. Always an enjoyable experience!
