A decent local pizza place with a selection of non pizza dishes.
The barley based soup was delicious. There was plenty of it so I ended up taking some home and enjoyed it very much the next day.
The salmon with pasta wasn’t that great. The fish was a tad too salty and the spaghetti served with it was not that tasty.
The pizza and accompanying bread with dipping oil and butter, was tasty.
The lady that served us was lovely. She remembered us from our previous visit which was quite a while ago. It was nice to be remembered.
There weren’t many customers in the restaurant, which was fine with us as it was easy for us all to speak and hear each other.
If you’re looking for a place with buzz and a fun atmosphere, my experience is that this isn’t it and maybe on other evenings, when it’s busier, there’s more of a buzz.
Definitely a decent place and worth a visit.

Interestingly enough I don’t come for the pizza. The salads are my favorite. I enjoy the salmon ceasar salad. The butter cake with a scoop of ice cream is delicious!

We went to California pizza kitchen on a Monday night about 6 o’clock for dinner. We sat at the counter because I wanted to watch the fire in the pizza oven. I was so pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. We watched the workers they were very efficient very professional, changed their gloves often. Everyone was very pleasant. Our server was very attentive, I didn’t get his name. I ordered the chef salad, I think that’s what I ordered. It had bacon, avocado, grilled chicken, tomatoes, it was delicious and big enough for two days. My husband ordered the Italian salad also delicious and big enough for two days. I highly recommend this location, and we will definitely be returning.

Arrived and lots of empty tables. People in front were told 10-15 minutes wait. We were told the same. Asked if could be seated to wait. We’re told no they would forget about us. Waited over 49 minutes then to be seated. At least 2 other party’s walked out while waiting. After 10 more minutes waiter came and we ordered immediately not knowing when he would return. Food came out in reasonable time and was good. Just needs more help evidently

Very friendly staff. Great healthy portions and wine tasting. It’s not only pizza they have zucchini pasta with shrimp if you are on diet. Service to go and fresh summer sangria. I’m very satisfied with our lunch, prices are good. It gave me idea to go to Napa Valley as they have red and white wine flights to try.

Hand tossed pizza dough superb. I ordered hawian pizza and every ingredient was fresh and high quality. Also the thai crunch salad excellent. Honestly every person I know that tried california pizza kitchen is happy w the menu.

I have been a CPK customer for many many years. My experience last night was beyond aweful. Last night I went with my family and had an appalling experience. The pizzas were so greasy, salmon dish took o er 1 hour to be served. The salad had huge chunks of hard chicken, and was so dry. The service was embarrassing, she was slow took back salad to switch for pizza and brought the wrong pizza back. We never saw the manager she just would come tell us what he said. Its so sad how low the bar has dropped when it was one of our favorite for so long

dean and grace had impeccable customer service. i was greeted with a kind smile and even though i had some issues with payment they were able to make the process as smooth as possible. they gave me some encouraging words as well as have great chemistry among each other. i will be recommending this place to my friends and family and i’m glad that after all these years i can still make beautiful memories

I decided to give another chance to California pizza kitchen in Fort Lauderdale. I spoke to Carlos, which expressed that he is the Chef. I ordered the West Coast burger, and the banh Mi. Really dreadful, the meat is dry, overcooked or maybe it was cooked the day before and reheated. The fries were re-cooked multiple times and they tasted old. The worst Banh Mi!. All the vegetables are not pickled, no mayo, it’s just a dry sandwich. I will never go back again. I prefer chick-file burger to California pizza kitchen. What a waste of money.

8/29/23-They have calorie count for the food , I like that. Big menu too. Plus nice big pizza oven. We started w/Crispy Eggroll, , Avocado salad, and the California Cobb w/ blue cheese dressing. They do half or whole. Half is big enough. Plus we garbage avocado roll.they serve nice warm bread w/ oil.
1/8/2020- lunch till 4:00pm.. Sara sat us and was our server. Her big blue eyes were very welcoming. We were the only ones in the place at 3:15 it was ice cold in there and the music was extremely loud ,but they just had a major lunch rush , I was told. We both had salads . I had the Thai crunch salad they do half size nice touch so not so big . , so glad I went with a half and I added the shrimp grilled , there were many and a nice size as well. Hubby had the California Club it was huge looked really good will definitely go back and see her thank you so much for making our lunch enjoyable.

I ordered the 1/2 sandwich with a cup of barley and pea soup all so good .
My gf had the Sweet pea carbonara with a bowl of soup don’t remember what kind it was it was a tomato something she said it had a little bite
Wow walked in to a bright place . I see first off how the hostess was cleaning the menu’s , I’ve always said all restaurants should . Was seated immediately. Had a great Tall server. He was definitely a seasoned server. Refill our tea’s, etc. helped us with what to order. Very friendly. Jeffery I see on receipt so thanks for making our lunch very enjoyable.
I had the 1/2 turkey with the green apples and Brie. 1/2 sandwiches and the Pea soup which was real good. G had the salad with a half of Padilla ( not real sure , Indian bread ) w chicken meatballs mozzarella and marinara looked great.
It was a nice lunch. Thanks again Jeffery.
