As soon as I walked in, I was very welcomed by the whole team/staff/employees . Didn’t have to wait at all to be seated for my own table, I was by myself and I felt like I was family to them. We hardly ever go out to eat, (with 7 kids) could you blame us? So glad we did! Sarah was amazing all staff was attentive and our kids loved the milkshake upgrade option.

I don’t understand how a meal for 2 adults and one child came to be $60. We waited for while since the sign said “please wait to be seated”. Now I completely understand being under staffed as I only saw one waitress & one cook. None the less. The waitress wasn’t friendly she looked like she hated her job. All we ordered was 2 cheeseburgers w bacon, w a side of fries and drinks (Pepsi, & Shirley temple I believe) and a kids grilled cheese w fries. How IS THAT $60! When she came to bring us the drinks she handed the kids drink w a stank face. Mind you I had a baby. And the baby was quick to snatch the menu out of the table and aimed for the mouth, she automatically said “I wouldn’t let her do that these menus are so dirty “ with attitude… like I was just facing you ordering before I realized my bay grabbed the menu. Well she took a while to come check on us so my sister stood up and went and got a refill herself. First and last time coming because it’s insane.

TERRIBLE SERVICE
I went in with 2 friends for the first time in about a decade. The food was good and as i remembered it but the service was the worst service I’ve ever had. Our waitress met us at the door. A younger girl with black with blond highlight hair in ponytails. She said nothing and walked to a table so we assumedly followed. We sat down and she walked away without a word.
She handed my friend their milkshake looking disgusting and didn’t even hand it to them directly.
She gave me a drink I didn’t order, and ended up still charging me for it. When i questioned it she said the combo was cheaper than the burger and fries individually. She did the math infront of me and it wasn’t cheaper. She then snatched my card and said “I’ll just charge it that way”. I had not clue how she was going to charge it. She came back and said “I just voided the bill”. So clearly she couldn’t do it or her math was bad.
Never coming back and if i was management I’d fire her.

DO NOT ORDER from this location. I spent almost $60 on three meals. When I mentioned one burger was made wrong Alex (manager) did not take accountability and gave me pushback when asked it to be made right. Extremely rude. I contacted corporate and waiting for a response

The atmosphere walking into Johnny Rockets was what you would expect. Cool and hip American diner theme, the big drawback was that the place was dirty even when it was not busy showing a lack of care from the staff to maintain and clean environment.
The waitress that met us at the door was kind enough and so was our main waitress. The service got bad when we sent back a cheese burger because it was dripping in grease and mayonnaise and the manager gave us a lot of attitude for pointing out how gross the hamburger came out.
The food itself was also horrible for charging $20 for a meal. The meat was flavorless, the bacon was something you would expect off of a whataburger special. The fries were not hot or crunchy like they had been pulled out early.
Would not recommend anyone go here, it’s a tourist trap waiting for people to see the catchy American diner expecting good food and a clean atmosphere.

People were rude to us and felt targeted. Me and my girlfriend came here for a quick bite because we had a reservation at “As You Wish” and all we ordered was 1 burger, a vanilla milkshake, and a starry. And when we were ordering the waitress was not paying attention to us and left in a hurry (there was only 2 other “parties” inside and they had already ordered.) We never got the starry, got the burger after almost an hour of waiting and the milkshake not long after and the waitress just threw them down on the table rudely while she was going to orher tables asking if they wanted more things and if everything was okay. And even another table who had ordered after us and was a bigger party got their food before us. And when I told the cashier to take off the starry off of our bill because we never got it and they made it seem like the end of world, overall would not come here again.

i love johnny rockets, but don’t order pickup online at this location. for some reason it doesn’t go through despite it being directly on their website (and the right address). i ordered $25 worth of food and when i came in, they claimed it didn’t show up on their tablet. my boyfriend tried to talk it through but the lady gave him attitude (we understood the issue wasn’t her fault however). she asked the manager (Alex) if it were possible to make the order since the payment still went through, and he denied it as she had “already given three free burgers earlier” (though they literally weren’t free, those people had this same exact problem). a couple even came up to us to say they had this issue as well and were still waiting on a refund.

I miss the old Johnny Rockets experience but the food was still good. They still serve one of the best burgers in the nation. I remember back then when Johnny Rockets employees would dance, the shakes would also come with extra in a shaker cup and they’d make little shapes with your ketchup… not anymore.
One of the best things about this place is their shakes. It reminds me of when you would get shakes at your local diner when you were a kid. This is exactly why this place is a staple, because it’s one of the only restaurants that still gives that 50s diner vibe. I love the environment of this location. It’s part of a beautiful strip mall, It was almost reminiscent of Hollywood Blvd.
The wait wasn’t long at all. We were seated as soon as we entered. And our food was brought out just a few minutes after we placed it. I will definitely be coming back to this location.
Parking: The biggest flaw about this location is the parking situation. You either have to walk from across the mall or you have to pay to park just outside the Johnny Rockets building. Once you park you’re prompted to pay online (which is an unfortunate inconvenience).

Update: Came back again and ordered the spicy Houston, was not disappointed! This store is spot on! Clementine was an incredible server and the food was incredible.
Old post: If you come in make sure Stratford and Jose are working. Stratford was our server and he was professional and courteous. Jose cooked our food with more passion than most high end restaurants. It was simply perfect.
