We were not disappointed with our choice and will probably come back.
Douglas behind the bar is an absolute standout. He remembers my order, is incredibly attentive, and somehow manages to multitask flawlessly while handling the entire bar area. Watching him work is impressive — calm, friendly, and genuinely great at what he does. Wednesdays are especially fun with game night — from the Girl Scout cookie samples paired with a wine tour to the games you can play with friends, it makes for such a fun, relaxed night out. Add in the happy hour, and honestly, I think I’ll be here every Wednesday now.
The food, as always, was outstanding. We had the beef medallions, which were cooked perfectly — the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the crispy onions on top were the perfect touch. The Maggiano’s salad was amazing, and both the calamari and fried zucchini appetizers were fantastic. I love that these are available on the happy hour menu in smaller portions, so you can try them without committing to the full entrée — such a great option.
And a huge shout-out to manager Kesh, who is truly incredible. Every time we’re here, he’s jumping in wherever needed — helping servers, checking on guests, running food, making sure everyone is taken care of. He’s so approachable, so kind, and clearly cares deeply about the guest experience. It makes such a difference.
This Maggiano’s isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a place that genuinely makes your day better. Amazing food, outstanding service, and people who truly care. We’ll always keep coming back.
It is my first time here and it shall be my last. If you ignored me saying I was dining in, then it is a good thing I got the free meal on the house. If I would have ordered regularly you probably would have gotten that wrong too. ♂️
After that situation I didn’t even want to eat in there any longer so I took my bagged food and ate on the bus like he wanted me to from the jump. This was a very uncomfortable experience.
The mussels were tender and full of flavor in a garlicky white-wine sauce I’d happily sip like soup, and the calamari came out perfectly golden and crisp — zero chewy bites. The staff was kind and low-key attentive, which made it easy to just unwind.
I grabbed a cozy booth, plugged in my laptop, and turned lunch into a little mid-day retreat. It wasn’t too noisy for a Tuesday noon crowd, so you can easily take calls, enjoy your food, and feel right at home.
Cute, cozy, and work-friendly — Maggiano’s Wisconsin Ave is officially my new go-to Italian comfort spot. ✨
The service was impeccable, not only was Ty excellent, and ensured you were taken care of. Other team members checked in on our table and routinely swept the dining hall to check on other guests. There were eight of us, so we did the family style, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts! My family loved the shrimp scampi, cheesecake, tiramisu, mozzarella, and fried zucchini. The Parmesan-crusted chicken was my favorite, but everything was so delicious.
The restaurant itself is beautiful. It’s very extravagant and romantic. We loved our meal, and it made for a beautiful time and meal with my family.
If you go, ask Ty to look out for you.
