Swell taco has been my favorite restaurant since they opened their Patchogue location (rip) 10 or so years ago. They have hands down the best tacos on Long Island and i don’t care what anyone says!! The prices are unbeatable and the salsa verde is to die for!!!!! I go here every year for my birthday and it never ever gets old. The drinks are always strong and well made, and the service is impeccable. This is my number 1 restaurant i will shout it from the rooftops

Great casual place to have Mexican. All age ranges here enjoying an afternoon of margaritas and tacos. It’s a popular spot. You might have to wait a few minutes for a table. It’s worth the wait. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. I’ll be back

Really loved the tacos at swell, far drive well worth it for the family. Corn tortillas were good and fresh, guac was not spicy, meat was tender. Also loves the crunch of the shrimp and mahi mahi on the fish and shrimp tacos. Great prices and great service too, love the music and atmosphere.

Very loud place. The wait for a table was long even though we reserved on line for 5 people. It was a friday night and it was busy.
The food was very tasty, I find that the taco did not have enough in them. I also got the Big papa burrito which has potato and steak, it wasn’t a big burrito and it didn’t have enough filling but It was tasty.
This place is more of a young crowd kinda place. Would I go back, hmm maybe.

Very cool spot in Babylon Village to hang out and get quick Mexican style food and good drinks. The Buffalo chicken eggrolls were delicious I got the Buffalo soldier burrito, it was pretty good. When you’re there you could look around the place and everybody is drinking the berry margarita. along with the other popular drinks are the pineapple margarita, the jalapeño margarita and the mango margarita. we also had some tacos which were good. Overall I would recommend coming here to have a few drinks and check out the atmosphere of the restaurant. Everybody loves the island vibe. Keep in mind this place is small and it gets extremely busy. On a Friday or Saturday night to well over an hour. Don’t let that stop you though, I would still certainly recommend checking out swell taco!

Showed up on a beautiful spring day to have some tacos. Was greeted right away by a wonderful hostess and asked to sit at the bar with a friend. The server (never asked for his name), was very friendly along with the rest of the staff. The tacos from Left to Right in the picture were Fish Taco, Shrimp Taco and Buffalo Chicken Taco. All 3 were extremely filling. The prices are reasonable.
Now on to the margaritas. The house margaritas knocks it out of the park. Very dangerous on an empty stomach
The berry margarita was a surprising change and had a great depth of flavor. I was even willing to try the Rum Punch but remembered I didn’t walk there so I had to postpone it to my next visit.
It is a family friendly establishment as I did see families with toddlers. As you look around the room, you see everyone satisfied with their choices. Nothing but smiles.

I love the food so much and the waiters are so amazing!! my favorite is the soft and the crunch a munch tacos! 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Long Island!!
