Great food but the short girl with darker hair will hustle you if you’re not careful. She put barely any chips in the bag and then when I asked for more she tried to charge me extra! I get a lot of food there for my wife and it’s always great!!! The service is really good too and the amount of chips is perfect with no hesitation when you ask for more. Except for this girl, yall be careful if she’s on the register. I’ve attached a photo of the original amount of chips she gave me before I asked for another bag that she tried to charge me for.

Ordered a bowl online. Got home and this was how much they filled it up. Thought this wasn’t chipotle but I guess I was wrong. Called and they couldn’t do anything unless I drove 15 mins back to the store. Will probably skip out on the Hampstead location and go to the surf city location where the workers won’t skimp out on portions.

Once again the Burrito Shak was awesome! My husband and I have eaten here several times, and it never disappoints! I just wish we had a Burrito Shak in Jacksonville. We would eat at it all the time! The food is always good and fresh, and the staff are always friendly and nice and always willing to help if you have any questions about the menu. I had the Rincon Bowl. I would definitely recommend the Burrito Shak, and will be stopping by when we are heading to Wilmington!

Don’t be intimidated if you walk in and there’s a big line. It’s worth the wait. And the line goes down quickly. They are used to large crowds and can get you through the line fast. There are tons of great options from a burrito, bowl, salads or quesadillas. Each plate comes with chips and you can choose your salsa. You can taste the fresh ingredients which really makes this place and easy choice for lunch or dinner.

We placed an order through DoorDash, but the store failed to include it in the bag. I received a call stating they had been “trying to reach me” and that the dasher could not return to pick it up—which I understand. When I asked what could be done from a customer service standpoint, two staff members told me my only option was to request a refund through DoorDash.
I explained that I have a sick child at home and could not come in to get the food, but there was no acknowledgment of responsibility or willingness to help. When I asked to speak with an owner or manager, I was met with resistance. Eventually, I gave up and ended the call.
This is unacceptable from a business we—and many of our friends—frequent. Shifting the blame onto the delivery service and the customer is not a good reflection of your establishment.

I have driven by this place a few times because I thought it wouldn’t be good. I was so wrong! Finally took a chance and I really like the food! I didn’t dine in, but the atmosphere is nice and the restaurant is clean. They do have a salsa bar for dining in and to go orders include chips and salsa.
