I LOVE FRICKERS BOWLING GREEN LOCATION!!!!!
I got the frickin chicken salad and it absolutely hit the spot. I had been craving it ALL WEEK. I am so glad I came here. I’m still reeling from my Frickin chicken salad. I decided to be adventurous today and try a hot sauce… an endeavor I was a bit nervous to embark on. BUT our kind and patient waitress named MARY guided me through the sauce decision process, using her expertise to recommend the perfect sauce, quelling all my worries and fears tonight. In my admiration of our waitress’s knowledge, I nearly forgot to request no tomatoes on my salad! However- somehow Mary ASKED IF I WANTED NO TOMOATOES. She literally read my mind. I don’t know how she did that. I guess frickers is so committed to customer satisfaction that they’ve resorted to black magic, but again, my salad was SO GOOD I don’t care if the waitress infiltrates my mind a little. There was barely any wait for my food. The radio was playing The Beatles, which is my favorite band. And then… my food arrived! I immediately dig in to find nothing short of a magnificent meal. The sauce Mart recommended was the PERFECT amount of heat for my meal. And this experience only cost 12.80!! I love you Frickers Bowling Green location, I love you Mary, I love you tristyn (my friend I dined with tonight), I love being in the prime of my life, and I love this magnificent city. I really really wanted to live this restaurant because it seems like the place that BGSU students take their parents, the place that college kids work. The atmosphere is amazing! The food and service, however are not. I ordered the boneless wings, their specialty, and they were horrible. The honey mustard was not honey mustard at all but more of a sweet hot sauce that I hated. My daughter had a BLT and the bacon was so hard it crumbled to nothing. My friend had a wrap that was all lettuce no chicken. The service was so bad when we got there we thought it was self serve. All in all a really bad experience.

Honestly, I am fuming right now. I came here expecting a decent meal, but I left feeling completely ripped off and disrespected as a customer.
First off, the wings were mediocre at best. Completely “so-so,” nothing to write home about. But I can forgive average food. What I cannot forgive is shady business practices.
Since when is it okay to charge for dipping sauce without saying a single word to the customer? I ordered wings—sauce is part of the experience. When I asked for it, the server just brought it out. No “that’s extra,” no heads-up, nothing. I only found out when I looked at the check and saw I was being nickel-and-dimed for a condiment.
It is not about the money; it is the principle. If you are going to charge me extra for something that is free almost everywhere else, you need to tell me to my face so I can decide if I want it. Sneaking it onto the bill hoping I won’t notice is absolutely ridiculous.

service – usually good, sometime there is drama , and customers will wait.

The TV was way too loud. People were having to talk really loud too each other just to be heard over the TV. Made for a misable dining experience, especially since we are new to the area and it was our first time eating here.

the quality of service here has gone downhill over the last year or so. I visited this evening and didn’t have a great experience. our server was less than attentive and everything she brought to us was haphazardly tossed on the table as she was passing by. someone else ran out food, and after asking if it looked okay we didn’t see her again until we asked for the check. we ordered BBQ boneless wings, the sauce tasted like it was tossed together with the wrong ingredients moments before serving, it honestly just tasted like ketchup. a burger ordered was more than overdone. we would have addressed these concerns during our visit, but although there were well over 10 servers and hostesses standing around, it didn’t seem like anyone wanted to be bothered by the patrons.

I tried the hottest wings here in Fricker’s, even though the wings weren’t spicy enough for me , the taste was still decent, definitely an ideal place to have some wings for night snack.
