This is a great family place to come with 2 or more people, the atmosphere is great and the employees are amazing, food comes out in a short wait but very good quality and taste. Would give 10 stars if could because this place is just awesome. Everytime I come here i have a great time. Would 10/10 recommend the buffalo tots those things are amazing!

Some of the absolutely best food ive had in a minute. We had the loaded tots with brisket as an appetizer and it was a meal in and of itself!! Super fresh and I usually don’t like tater tots. Then for my main I got the full rack of ribs with their signature 30 caliber sauce with cornbread, sweet potato fries and potato salad. Ribs were fall off the bone, cooked perfectly and full of meat. Sweet potato fries were just the right crunch but soft on the inside and came with the best brown sugar butter ive probably ever had. Potato salad was chunky and super fresh, not mushy like it was overcooked or had been sitting. This was all put down with their signature jalapeño margarita which was just the right spice kick to go with the ribs. My only complaint was that it was a smaller drink. I usually expect a bigger drink for a margarita but to be fair it was quite strong. 150% will be returning next time we’re in town. It’s our new favorite place! Thanks old 30!

Drove an hour to try this place. Wasn’t much of a way staff is friendly waitress is really nice. I thought the nachos were absolutely fantastic and huge. First first time I have had smoked shrimp and they were pretty good. The pork turkey brisket were really good. Here’s my only disappointment the ribs tasted like they were sitting in a warmer and the barbecue sauce was all hardened. There was also very little meat on these ribs. Extremely disappointed in the ribs since she said these were the best thing you guys had. I lied the macaroni and cheese wasn’t very good either. The rest of the sides were good.

Great first experience here today. Stopped in for lunch and ended up eating enough for two full days. I ordered the Texan dinner and it did not disappoint.

The Texan comes with brisket, turkey, pulled pork, a sausage, two rolls, two pieces of cornbread, fried onions and pickles, and two sides. I chose macaroni and cheese and was recommended the sweet potato fries, so I went with those.

Let’s start with the best, the pulled pork. By far the pulled pork was the best protein on the tray. It just melted in my mouth, and I drenched it with two different BBQ sauces. (They have four in total, all unique and delicious.)

The brisket was my next favorite. It also was cooked perfectly and was so tender. Full of flavor and was seasoned well.

The sausage was good. They get it local I found out, and it was cooked perfectly. I will say, it was good, but I would pass on it for either the pulled pork or brisket when I come back.

The turkey was the only disappointment. Man it was dry. But then again, it’s turkey. So I just drenched it in BBQ sauce and moved on.

I was happy the meal came dressed with onions and pickles. I prefer the onions to be fresh, but the batter on the onions was really tasty.

The rolls I could have lived without. Just seemed like bland store bought rolls. Just give me a pair of white bread slices, or even Hawaiian rolls instead.

The cornbread, whisky bajeebus the cornbread. I make my own cornbread, and I’ve tried well over two dozen recipes. I have never had or made cornbread that was as light and fluffy as this. Best cornbread I’ve ever had. And they sweeten it, which I really like.

The sides were spot on. The macaroni and cheese was ooey and gooey and delish. The sweet potato fries were fried perfectly to have a crunch and yet still light and airy on the inside. Their dipping sauce, which seems to be a brown sugar cinnamon concoction, is ridiculously yummy.

Lastly, I decided to order the fried bread pudding. In a word, yes. Yes it was delicious. Yes it was served piping hot. Yes I recommend getting it.

All in all, one of the best BBQ experiences I’ve had in Ohio. I can’t say it measures up to my favorite spots in Houston. But it would definitely be above average in the South.

Will be back. Many times probably.

We had great time at this restaurant. We got together with family that lives all over in the northern part of Ohio.
It was able to accommodate roughly 15 guests in the side room area. It took a little longer to get food which we understood, about 30-40 minutes. But once we got it, we dug in and enjoyed every last bite. I had pulled pork. Green beans and Mac and cheese and I’d definitely order it again!

The entire experience was a bit underwhelming, sadly. The wings (pictured here) were about the only slightly decent thing I had. I ordered slice Brisket and it was the driest meat I’ve ever had. It seems like it was overcooked and was sitting there for a while. Plus the mac-n-cheese was uneatable, at least that particular day it was. That was another thing that seemed like it was sitting there for a whole day. I asked to change my side to sweet potatoe fries. That along with the wings made me not give this place an overall 1 rating.

What makes it worst is they tried to charge me for 2 sides without giving me advanced notice first. Some friends I was with got the dry sliced Brisket as well and asked for it to be changed to chopped Brisket which was a little better and they didn’t get charged for it. I’m sure the meat is more expensive than the sides. They tried to say it’s because they had to make the sides and that’s a charge. But when I asked to change my side, the waitress didn’t say there’d be a charge for the change so I’m aware and she took the dry mac-n-cheese back. So you want me to pay for something you took back and didn’t inform me would change my bill? Right. The manager was supposed to come talk to me about it which I would have been glad to explain, but I guess the manager couldn’t be bothered. So, they just removed it and gave me an updated bill.

My overall experience was not pleasant at all!

Run to Old 30 for the best beer cheese you’ll ever have!! First time here (husband has been), typically I don’t get beer cheese because it’s never GREAT, but this absolutely is.
I had the Meat Sliders, pork, turkey and chicken, they were delicious and juicy! Sometimes pulled chicken is really dry…not this. The fries were really good as well!
We Sat at the bar and the bartender (Megan) was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable.
We absolutely will be back. Soon!

Stopped here on a recent Saturday night and had a really great meal. The brisket was excellent, some of the best I have ever had. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The place is large and rustic. Very clean and well run. If you are in the area, do not miss this place.

A month ago I made a post about not receiving items in my take out order and left positive reviews for atmosphere and the food. This time to just strictly about service. This restaurant has finally made it to the bottom with a 1 star review on service. We ordered take out again hoping it would be different and well, it was not unfortunately. This time the coleslaw was missing from our order. I received an apology last time and I can appreciate that but this is now the 4th time in a row something has been missing from our takeout order. I’m dumbfounded. I literally have nothing to say at this point other than I hope it’s not this bad for everyone. I’ll post a pic of my last review so you can see the response I was given and clearly must have been completely disregarded.
