Went to this place at 12:30am on a Thursday morning after a 45min drive to get here not expecting a whole lot being that it’s a drive thru. I ordered a shredded beef, bean, and cheese burrito with chips and salsa. The burrito was massive. Bigger than a Chipotle burrito, and MUCH better as well. The beans had good flavor and consistency, there was lots of cheese, but not too much, and the shredded beef was well seasoned, cooked well, and very moist. I was dripping meat juice as I ate the burrito. The chips were freshly made and hot when I dug into them, and the salsa was delicious. It was a tomatillo based salsa, rather then tomato based which I prefer as it’s more authentic. I only went through the drive thru, so this review is based on taste, price, and service at the drive thru. I spent about $17 for the burrito, chips, and salsa, which seems pricey, but considering you can easily get 2 meals out of the burrito, it’s actually a very reasonable price. I will DEFINITELY be back. It way exceeded my expectations for a drive thru Mexican restaurant at midnight. I’m glad I dont live in Topeka because I would spend way too much money at this place if I lived close to it. Unfortunately I didn’t not get any pics of the food, but next time I will.

Ordered 2 soft tacos ground beef. Didn’t expect that they were too much watery and too much lettuce in tacos. Tasted ok. Disappointed!! Never come back here.

The chimichanga is really good. I highly recommend it. I didn’t give 5 stars because the tables and booths could use a good scrubbing. More importantly, you can see into the kitchen and it was clean so no worries there.

This is restaurant quality food in a a drive through. Not at all what I was expecting. Totally exceeded my expectations. Will definitely eat here again when I’m in town!

1st time going was last night. I ordered a beef tostada and a bean tostada. They were HUGE and made fresh. Place was busy yet it took only about 4 minutes. Delicious food!

I wish I could give this place a 6 star. It has been over 25 years from the last darn good Carne Asada burrito. This one rates right next to South CA. Yumm. I will drive the extra mile to return. I even saw one in Salina. I was unable to stop on that trip but it is on my list. So far all the food has been great. I even talked to another table to see what they ordered it looked so good. I was in Lawrence and I see a Pancho’s will open soon. It is on 23rd and just a couple blocks East of Iowa street.

The bacon breakfast burrito USED to be my favorite in town. Ordered this morning through the drive through at 9am. Got home & it had stale (possibly 24-hr old) French fries in it, instead of the usual breakfast potatoes or hash browns. Additionally, the tortilla was so old it was hard. So disappointing, especially considering how good & fresh their food USED to be. Run far, run fast.
