I must say there’s nothing like southern food. Hollier’s has been around for a long time. I remember being in the area about 8 years ago and the restaurant was a big deal. Even today, it’s still a the place to go for authentic Louisiana cooking. The staff is so pleasant and they are very attentive. When I visited on a Saturday, there was a buffet. I ordered a grilled shrimp salad off the menu.
I like on the wooden and rocking chairs in the porch as you enter the restaurant.
There is plenty of parking and accessible entrance as well.

I stopped in for a quick pick up for lunch. I asked the lady who was going to seat me how do I get a ToGo lunch. She politely showed me the buffet (BBQ) and asked if I wanted dark or white meat. She took it from there, went to get me a to go plate and pointed me to the cash register. The food was great and I will return when I’m in the area. My interaction was brief, but perfect.

We drove an hour to come here for real Cajun food while visit Louisiana.
When we try new places we like to have the waitress choose our food for us. After explaining it to our waitress and deciding our no go items we waited for what She would bring. First of She was friendly and knowledgeable and chose some great authentic dishes.
We tried plain and spicy boudin, fried boudin ball, shrimp gumbo with rice, Pistolettes with crawfish and cheese, jambalaya, grilled catfish topped with crawfish etouffe, onion rings and hush puppies. Everything was delicious although a little too spicy for me, my other half didn’t think so.
It was definitely worth the drive to this local casual diner.

Buffet or order from the menu. The food was very yummy. We were there on a Thursday afternoon and it was pork chops on the buffet. Fried, grilled, smothered … Anyway you could want a pork chop, they delivered. The sides on the buffet were delicious too! Black eyed peas, greens, mashed potatoes and gravy, rice, cornbread. Deserts were bread pudding and strawberry cake. The cake was warm out of the oven with the homemade icing melting down the sides of the cake. Big seating area, great servers. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in for lunch, Coming from Houston. The service was avarge, the dining area was not what I expected, it wasn’t dirty, but it was definitely outdated. As we walked in we were informed about the buffet, bbq on the day we went in. I regret not ordering from the menu, I’m not sure if it would have made a difference. The only items I would suggest eating was #1 The potato salad. Even though it looked so sloppy in the stainless steel container. We had to scrape it out because it was almost empty, the container was on ice. It was very good #2 The baked beans, Obviously from a can. The temperature was perfect, Hot and the container was full. #3 The pork ribs, Were tender, slathered bbq sause on them and they were ok. The other pork meat did not have a good flavor, you could tell it was a cheap cut of pork, the sausage was tough. I got a piece of bread it was extremely hard. I don’t know if they ever have pickles and sliced onions, there were none out. The dessert was horrible, banana pudding on a try with no ice to keep it cold, and it wasn’t covered, out in the open. There were only three small bowls on a tray, they should at least put it on ice and put plastic wrap over it. I was disappointed. If I ever go back to eat here again, I’m definitely ordering from the menu..

Stopped in for dinner on our way into town! If you are wanting a hole in the wall/mom and pop place vibe, Hollier’s is it. We didn’t have the best experience with the food though. Crawfish was okay. The size was great, flavor was a dry rub and not too spicy. But they were waaayyy over cooked. Every tail we peeled stuck to the shell and broke. So we tried the gumbo. The rice was either old or not cooked fully because there were crunchy pieces. Also got barely any meat. Flavor was okay though. Hush puppies were mediocre. The ribs in the buffet were great and chicken in the buffet were great. So overall, I think I’d just stick to the buffet if you want the best for your money. Our server was really sweet! She was tentative and kind!

Traveling through and saw your Cajun Buffett on Google and thought we would try it out. So glad we did! Food was wonderful -seafood casserole and a steamed spicy fish were my favorites. But we tried everything and it was all very tasty. Waitress was attentive and all went well. Great value for the low price Plenty of room to park our 35’ motorhome

I hadn’t eaten here since 2010 and 15 years passed and it’s the same, amazing. This place rocks always has, better than other Cajun places in the area. Thanks for keeping it the same which is great.

I ordered my food to go. But the staff was friendly while I waited and the food came out hot and quickly. Seemed to be a popular place. Food was good, but I felt like it lacked seasoning. They had it out for you to use, but since mine was carried out I feel like I missed out. The food over all was good! enjoyed it!
