Came in at dinner time and it was super busy. Seated almost immediately, chips and salsa came out quick. Cheese dip is not thick, the food was really good overall. The jalapeños were super good and spicy.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant hands down. The food is always excellent and the service is quick. Server’s are very attentive for your needs. We’ve been coming here for over 16 years and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend the steak fajita nachos or shrimp Chimichanga. I am a huge fan of the salsa and Pico de. Gaio.

This has been the restaurant of my choice for Mexican food in Janesville for a little over 10 years. It has never disappointed. Servers are always friendly, fast and on top of their orders, it only that but the busboys too, huge shout out to Mario the busboy! He was super welcoming, and had the kindest personality. The food always has great flavor and comes out on time. I modify the veggie fajitas and have never had servers turn me down or deny any request, which is a huge plus. The chicken for the Pollo Verde dish is tender and tasty and according to bf. Good selection of vegetarian dishes as well! The environment is calm and they have unique old fashioned traditional Mexican decor. Prices are very reasonable! Cheaper than IL for sure. Big parking space, clean bathrooms. Overall well kept. We love Cozumel Mexican Restaurant. This is a fantastic spot for dinner for the whole family. The kids are always happy with their meals. My wife and I are always satisfied and full. Usually, I end up taking half the meal home for the next days lunch. Service is great, the servers are very friendly.

Food is bland, no presentation, just some ground beef, not really seasoned, no matter what dish you ordered except seafood. I met the owner and she was nice and proud of her restaurant. I had yet to try a dish, so I didn’t get the opportunity to talk with her about the food. Unless you like very bland foods and don’t cate about the presentation, this is for you. I went a second time and brought my adult son, he absolutely was not impressed and didn’t finish his plate, neither of us did. It’s sad because it doesn’t have to be this way, Pinterest has plenty of Mexican food recipes and they show presentation.

Food – Generous portions, meat tender. (minus 1 star because I like it more spicy. Seems they held back on the spice for the blah Wisconsin pallet)
