We were immediately impressed with the ambiance and kind waiter, Eddie. And then our food arrived! Wow!!! It was so beautifully presented and tasted even better. The portions were enormous and the price point was perfect!!! We can’t wait to dine with Eddie at Amore’s again soon. Ottawa please support this amazing restaurant!!!!

Absolutely delicious! My test dish for any Italian restaurant is always chicken parmesan and this did not disappoint. My husband got the tour of Italy and absolutely loved it. It included lasagna, which I usually won’t eat at any restaurant because it’s always inferior to mine. I would absolutely order this lasagna. My son got the chicken Milanese, which was also fantastic. Lovely spicy dish. The owner is hard-working, funny, and very hospitable. The salads were super fresh. Huge portions. You can absolutely get two to three meals out of one order.

Had relatives come to town but couldn’t eat here because #1 they don’t take reservations and #2 They were not open due to a family gathering. But no notification of that until we showed up at the door and it said they were closed. Will never try eating here again as I was embarrassed that plans had been made and everyone was looking forward to Italian. You can do better if you want to stay in business.

Had lunch with family here. Was seated very quickly with good being brought out about 15 minutes later. Our waiter was very respectful also making sure the order(s) were correct.

Update: I had a chicken Marsala last night, that was very good. And our waiter was so fun!
No wine menu. Bummer.
It was just ok. Very heavy. Loaded on pasta in the dishes, so plenty of leftovers. The bread was an awesome highlight.

Food was pretty decent for small town italian. Bread was really good & portion sizes are generous for the price. Service was great. I recommend trying this place out for sure!

10/10 on all aspects! I took my kids out for lunch before doing school shopping, and we chose Amore, which we had not ever had. Absolutely going back, and soon! The waitress was so sweet to my kids, even got down at their level to ask how it was. She deserves all the praise! The food was very reasonably priced and generous portions! All of us had leftovers. Decor was beautiful, the music added to the atmosphere. All around one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in awhile.
