They were very busy that day for lunch so we understand when all our meals came out at different times but it was very odd that the eggplant came out and much later the focaccia that goes with it came out. The stromboli is probably the best deal as it’s basically a rolled up pizza for only $10.99. All the food was delicious. FYI The GF pizza is not good cold the next day. Needs to be warmed up.
After Anthony’s response I’m adding…
Thank you for reaching out to me. I will definitely return again just better informed. I’ll definitely try the regular crust caprese pizza lunch special next time.
We felt so bad for Mikee, the one server, the day we came to Anthony’s. He was the only server I saw for the lunch crowd and did a great job checking on everyone and taking care of us even though he was swamped.
For most of us in our group it was our first time here. We figured it must be good with so many people eating there. Give it a try.
Vintage pictures on the wall, an open bar, and you can observe the large open coal grill in use – which is neat.
It was busy at the time I arrived – and there were was two servers running the dining floor. The service was relatively pleasant.
I ordered the Garlic Knots and a 12″ Pizza (Half Plain, Half Pepperoni).
The Knots were crispy and doughy, topped with Parmesan and thin pieces of garlic cloves. The only thing I may have adjusted on the knots would be the amount of oil used. Regardless, they were delicious.
The pizza was well-balanced and unique: Robust sauce, just enough cheese, and the crust was crusty. The Coal-Fired Pizza dough was blackened from the oven, which gave it an authentic taste.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience. This Pizza does standout against the average pizza place, as it wasn’t greasy, it’s light, and pricing was reasonable. I would highly recommend giving this place a try.
Premium prices for food but it’s all sub par food. Not worth the money or the headache.
I don’t know how it can be burnt and floppy at the same time. It’s like a 5 year old put it together. The pizza is god awful. I mean even the pepperoni taste bad. And why is there like cig ash on my pizza ?? That’s what it looks like ..But the burnt yet still floppy blows my mind ?!?
The piece of chicken was absolutely pathetic, I was actually speechless as chic fil a chicken patty was bigger than what we were served. There was about 6 slivers of roasted peppers, no cheese or prosciutto. They did take it off of our bill but still made it a point that the manager said there was mozzarella and prosciutto. I’m sorry but for 13/14.99 it was not worth a penny.
It was 1pm and the floor was filthy. The plates that were given to us, were dirty. The menu had dried red sauce stuck on them… really that should have been our queue but now we know and lesson learned.
