The two of us ordered a taco each (1 salmon, 1 carnitas), and each had a half serving of soup (1 gumbo, 1 chowder). Everything was tasty, full of flavour, and generously sized. Honestly, we could’ve done the half soup each with a ciabatta and been full, but we wanted to try the tacos. The gumbo was a bit salty for my liking, but my partner liked it, so that might be a personal preference thing. Definitely stop by, there were tons of locals eating here and the prices were super reasonable. Just watch out for the crows!!

Definitely a favourite to hit up when I’m in tofino! The burgers are phenomenal with lots of flavour! Generous fry portions and fair prices. I was so full from lunch here I didn’t even eat dinner lol.

We ordered a beef and a salmon burger with shoestring fries. Both were juicy and delicious. We also tried the Korean spicy tofu and rice dish. Has a delicious kick and rice is nice and fluffy. Recommend trying this place for casual fare.

Wildside Grill in Tofino stays true to its name—it’s got a wild side in all the best ways! We had the Pork Ciabatta, packed with tender, flavorful meat, the fresh and delicious Tuna Poke Bowl, and the fantastic Cod Burger. The Seafood Chowder Soup was rich and comforting with loads of shrimp, and I also tried Tofino Kombucha for the first time—easily the best kombucha I’ve had! I wasn’t a fan before, but now I am. Love this place and highly recommend it specially for family with children! Worth the price, huge serving. Kids said they love their fries, well so do I! Parking is easy, right beside Chocolate Tacofino. Plus, if you order from here, you get 10% off ice cream at Chocolate Tacofino—what a sweet bonus!

Amazing food, worth to pull over to grab a bite to eat on the way into Tofino. Accommodating to gluten allergies which their food is actually amazing and freshly made. This spot will be a must each time going to Tofino. Highly recommend the cod club sandwich, best fries I have ever had plus the amount of food portion you get is worth every penny.

The fish and chips were absolutely outstanding — honestly the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. Service was on point, the crew is super friendly and motivated, and you can really feel they care about what they do. Huge compliments to the team — highly recommended!

During our Thanksgiving long weekend retreat to Chesterman Beach, we stumbled upon Wildside Grill on our way back and it turned out to be an absolute delight. I’m usually indifferent to fish and chips, but anything involving Salmon instantly wins me over and this hidden gem took that love to a whole new level.
As soon as we stepped inside, the intoxicating aroma from the kitchen made it clear that we had chosen the right place. I ordered the Salmon with chips and Salmon tacos and let me tell you this was hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my entire life. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a generous portion that was complemented by a mountain of crispy golden chips. The salmon tacos were just as incredible; packed with fresh flavors and a surprisingly large, juicy piece of fish.
The tartar sauce deserves special mention. You can taste the chef’s skill in every bite as it brought out the perfect balance of tang and creaminess. Every element of the meal had the perfect texture and the flavors were on point.
Not only was the food top notch, but the prices were also impressively reasonable, especially given the generous portions and of course the atmosphere.

Huge portions, none of us could finish ! Tasty and juicy burgers, poutine was right proper as well.
Watch out for the crows , they will rob your plate if you leave it unattended. Otherwise they make good entertainment while enjoying your meal under the trees in the shade.
