Had an amazing experience at Urban Rasoi! The ambience was really good—warm, inviting, and perfect for a nice meal out. The staff was incredibly courteous, and the service felt genuinely attentive.
The food quality was outstanding. Some absolute highlights were the Lucknow ki Chaat, Shrimp Kali Mirch, Gosht Curry, and the Falooda for dessert. Every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and served beautifully.
Definitely a place I’d recommend and would love to visit again!

We celebrated a birthday there, and it truly couldn’t have been a better setting The highlight of the night? Chicken Kali Mirch — absolute star of the show! Bold, flavorful, perfectly spiced… every bite was on point
Everything we ordered was delicious, and to top it all off, the birthday song at the end was such a sweet and cheerful way to close the evening It made the celebration feel extra special
The only caveat being the potion side is which are quite small and you can’t share.
Great food, cosy vibes, and memorable moments — definitely coming back! ✨

Went to Urban Rasoi the other night. Great food, awesome company and even had live music. Heard about this restaurant many times and was glad to finally come here and experience it for ourselves. Really enjoyed it and recommend it to all.

Had dinner here and it was so good! We ordered chicken steamed momos, Hakka noodles , murgh patiala , palak chaat with masala soda and sweet lassi. Everything was so yummy and delicious! will surely visit again soon!

From the ambience to the food, we absolutely loved Urban Rasoi! The entire experience was so pleasant — our server was super helpful and attentive throughout. We were welcomed with small rose masti drinks in shot glasses, which were so good that we ended up ordering them as our full drinks later!
For appetizers, we had the Palak Chaat and Veggie Steamed Momos, both of which were delicious. For our entrée, we ordered the Paneer Pasanda with Garlic Naans, and everything was cooked perfectly.
My personal favorites were definitely the Palak Chaat and Paneer Pasanda.

Went for dinner with friends, all the vegetarian appetizers were really great. Great vibe with the live music! Schezwan momos, palak chaat, Schezwan soy chaap, Schezwan noodles have to be my favorites!

Amazing place , we tried the Indo Chinese and traditional panjabi items they all were great . Ambiance is really good as well.
And the service is top notch. They really took interest in what we like and made good suggestions.

Urban Rasoi is a pretty nice restaurant in the North Brunswick area with a great vibe, and for an area with tons of Indian spots, actually really good food. The welcome drinks and whimsical decor is actually a nice touch setting it apart from the others.

Ambiance is nice, a bit small though. The staff is really good and proactive.
Palak Patti chat is a must try, they do serve welcome drink with some jazzy dry ice fumes.
Despite good food, I felt the quantity is a fight, they serve really small quantity of food. This is a bummer in my view, they should think about it.
