Took my old buddy here Last Saturday night. He had never been to place like this. I personally never been to this specific place before myself but I’m glad I chose it. Had a nice chill vibe inside. Our waiter was super helpful and friendly . Oscar if I remember right was his name. He was helpful on how the whole process worked, was always checking to see if we needed anything and when we did , dude was back with the quickness. He was also helpful on helping choose what meats were slightly better than another. That helped since the list of choices is somewhat over whelming at first. But overall it was great experience, my friend said it was the one of the best places he ever ate at. I gotta say it’s up there in my top ten of favorites. I highly recommend this place , but take someone who’s never ate at a place like this and they’ll have the best time ever.

KKOKI Korean BBQ is a totally different experience. if you don’t know how to grill your own food then this is not the place for you. They do offer appetizers and a specialty menue that will come cooked but on the “All you can eat” choices or
“Family combos” you have to grill it yourself. You can only stay for up to 2 hrs and you will get a sur charge of $10 if you leave any uncooked meat. We ordered the cheese corn and Jin mandu for appetizer it came out looking wonderful although we didn’t have any utensils or drinks for 15 min it still tasted alright cold. When we received are family combo for 2 “a plate of uncooked meats” the waitress decided what sides she wanted to order for us and didnt let us choose. The grill was not turned on,when we asked the waitress to turn it on she turned on the propane without lighting it and walked away. It smelt like propane so bad i thought the place was going to blow up!!! she didnt return for 10 min! if anyone striked a flame! Caboom!! My girlfriend’s blonde hair would have been gone! After surviving that we finally had a warm grill. it was a fun exspierce cooking infront of eachother but there was no seasonings or BBQ sauce for the meats. The place has BBQ in the name but doesn’t offer BBQ Sauce of any kind! The total was $99 and we got over charged for 2 orders of Jin mandue appitizersafter when the family combo is supposed to come with it. After leaving a small tip the waitress came back and told us we didn’t leave a good tip and then told us she didn’t have any change. I think the food is great but service needs a little work. Maybe next time it will be a better experience. This was my first time.

Have been here with family, and friends COUNTLESS times the last 4 years.

This was my first kbbq experience ever, I’ve then gone out to places in Vegas and California / Washington since. Kkoki still continues to be one of my favorites despite the variety of places I’ve tried. I’ve even had this place be the first kbbq experience for my family, and friends.

This is a place where you can order off their menu, or participate in their all you can eat grill, where you order select meats and they bring it to your table 3 orders at a time.

They have very clearly labeled rules and prices, and it’s been that way the entire time I’ve been there. I saw others complaining about this but, the only things that’s changed for this place is the new sheet you fill out when you arrive at your table. Also the very very small price increase in some of their options, which is understandable. The new sheet makes the experience streamlined, with no room for error.

I’ve only had issues with slow service, and a server forgetting things MAYBE three times in the 30+ times I’ve gone

I recommend this place! I’ve never had to make a reservation, I usually walk in and have practically no wait. Even on nights when they’re popping. Shame to see people leave bad reviews because they aren’t reading the clearly labeled things.

Try their soju cocktail pitchers! You don’t taste the alcohol, and its a great pair with the meal 😀

We have been coming here for the past 3 years, this time unfortunately will be our last time. Our server was great, but so many things have changed. Prices continue to go up($36 for the lowest option) we have to pay $12 for our 2yr Olds to Sit at the table with us (they dont eat anything, or maybe a little bit of my rice) there is a list of “rules” that you now have to Abide by including if you dont eat all your food you are going to be charged an extra $10, and if you have more then 5 people they charge you gratuity. We have loved going to this place over the years for the experience but we just feel it has lost its environment it use to have.

We have been here 10+ times and it has always been amazing food and service. Tonight our sever kept turning down our cooking surface to make it take longer to cook food at one point she turned it off she went so low. She never came around only changed our grill 2 times with 4 rounds. Then since it was a group of 4 adults and 3 kids we got charged 40$ in gratuity. We didn’t even get our drinks until round 3 of food never got our vegetables it was my worse time here ever. Good thing the food taste good. Just make me upset we got charged so much for the worst service ever.

I came by to try this place out after looking over the menu options since it looked fantastic! I was so excited! I was immediately discouraged and lost interest once I was told that I can only order appetizers and and chicken to go after 3pm. Also, there isn’t any options for a single customer. Only 2 or more. I always eat alone so it looks like I will never come to this place again. I’m actually pretty upset about it to be honest. Had my hopes really high just to get the rug pulled out from under me, so to speak.

Service was horrible. I had to ask for my own rice that came with the combination meal for two that was nearly around $85.00. I had to ask for my drink I had ordered almost three times. We started out with our appetizer first with no silverware and plates. It was awful. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience felt below standard. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve service and attention to detail. Very bad experience.

Kkoki Korean BBQ in Salem offers top-quality and flavorfull meats along with fresh side dishes and vegetables are freshness of the ingredients really elevates the experience, making it a solid choice for anyone looking for good Korean BBQ in the area. The waitstaffs are exceptionally kind and provide quick, attentive service. The atmosphere is welcoming, and both the ambiance and pricing are very reasonable, and the restaurant also offers a large banquet area that’s perfect for groups. Overall, it’s an excellent spot for both casual dining and group gatherings.
I strongly, recommend this place for dining in, takeout, or catering for office parties and special events.

My gf and I dine in at least twice a month. It’s a nice treat. We do the all you can eat middle package. It’s full of every type of protein you could want and a two hour all you can eat time limit. You order 3 things at a time and then get more as you want. We usually make it through nine proteins. It’s only 33 bucks a pop which ain’t bad at all. Would recommend you come try them out.
