I didn’t know what just went into my mouth. I opened the lid to find it was soggy sticker from the other lemon further down. I am assuming for this to happen they haven’t been washed at all. I will never go back. Surely the employee would’ve seen these putting them in my drink. Imagine what else they don’t care about while handling food.

Went to this restaurant around 6:40pm or so. Ordered my food. Sat there for well over 20 minutes. I watched from my car as the workers inside were looking at orders and bagging food. But wasn’t bringing anything to me. I continued to wait. After another 7-9 minutes, a young lady came to my car and passed me my order. After I paid her, I went on my way thinking…this food has to be freshly made…boy, it’s gonna be delicious. I made it home, got inside, ripped into the bag and what did I discover….cold food! My wife and I had to heat up the burgers. The fries weren’t far from having icycles on them. And I mean it was horrible. I refused to go back out into that horrible traffic just to probably be treated badly or worse. Because one thing I’ve learned over my lifetime is…ya don’t piss off people who are in control of your food. Sadly though, I won’t be returning to this Sonic in Madison on Hwy 72. Ya just lost a good customer.

And I’m pretty sure the tater tots I ordered today at your location at lunchtime were cooked and placed under a warming light just waiting for 12 years for you to put them in my bag (today). I went to this location with a couple family members and we ordered 3 drinks. 2 out of the 3 drinks were very obviously incorrect by just looking at them. One of the drinks they gave us was a slush (which we did not order any slushes) and the best way to describe the other drink was that it looked like Mr. Grinch pooped in a route 44 cup (that drink was supposed to have peach flavoring and sweet cream, neither of which are neon green). When we told our carhop that 2 of the drinks were incorrect, she handed us the receipt and said “is this not your order?”
We looked at the receipt and told her that the receipt was correct, but 2 of the drinks were incorrect. She was doubtful that the drinks were incorrect but FINALLY took them back inside to assumably correct them. However, after we waited almost an additional 10 minutes (we had already been there at least 10-15 minutes waiting on our drinks) and another lady who I assume was the manager came out to our car with the exact same drinks that we sent back. She rudely asked us what was wrong with the drinks and when we told her, she very rudely responded with “well did you taste it?” We told her no, you could tell they were wrong by looking at them. We have ordered the exact same thing many times before and knew that was obviously wrong. She then continued to argue with us and told us “it’s foamy like that because of the sweet cream” and then handed us the drink back, even though we NEVER said anything about it being foamy we only said we knew it was incorrect because it was green and nothing in what we ordered was supposed to be green. We were tired of arguing with her and did not want to cause any problems so we didn’t say anything else about the green drink. She then looked at the other drink and asked what was wrong with it. We told her it was not supposed to be a slush. I guess she couldn’t come up with another excuse as to why WE were wrong about what we ordered, so she took that drink back and corrected it and after another 5 minutes brought it to us. Never once was ANY sort of apology given despite the extremely long wait and wrong items and poor customer service. With the disrespect we were shown I wouldn’t be surprised if they spit in our 1 “corrected” drink.
I would like to end by saying the Sonic on County Line Rd in Madison is phenomenal! I’ve always had great service there. I wish this location on highway 72 had a sliver of the service that county line has.

Placed an order at 1:50, with only a couple other cars parked. Waited 32 minutes to receive the order.
Once we received the order, items were missing and our drinks were mixed with another vehicle. After requesting our missing items and correct drinks we waited another 15 minutes to get lukewarm fries and no new drinks.
Impressively poor experience.

Carhop is so rude. Ordered a single drink and was therefore going to pay using some spare quarters i had. Counted them out in advance and was going to hand them to her when she said in a very rude tone “no i’ll just refund you” and stomped off. last i checked quarters were money and were more than reasonable to pay for a drink that costs a few dollars. Will not be going back to this location.

I have been addicted to sonic onion rings and banana shakes forever. A few years ago I again went to Sonic on 72 highway and ordered my usual. Much time went by; Im guessing maybe 45 minutes. I finally got out of my car and went to the manager and complained. He immediately produced what I thought was my order. I grumbled home and upon opening the bag, found a stange different order than the one I had placed. Indignantly I returned and was somewhat disturbed, admittedly. The manager grabbed the bag and threw it in the trash and told me not to come back. I’m trying to be neutral in my description because of my obvious anger at the entire debacle. Judge for yourself, dear reader, as to what blame to place where. I rest my case.
