We both enjoyed our lunch at Skewered Thai — stir fried cashews with chicken for me, pad Thai for him. He did think the pad Thai was a bit on the sweet side, something that seems fairly predictable to me. But he still liked it.

The restaurant itself is really inviting, well-decorated with comfortable chairs and nice muted lighting. The person who waited on us was very nice, soft-spoken and solicitous.

This restaurant is conveniently located for anyone shopping at Trolley Square. It’s right across the street from that shopping mall.

This place has amazing Thai food, I’m telling you it’s a must try. Located across the street from trolley square. The service is great, it can get busy and parking isn’t the best but the food makes up for it. Oh, and you can choose your spice level.

Red curry was very good, hint of pumpkin was a nice signature touch. Rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Large portion size for the cost, more than I could finish at the restaurant.

Service was excellent and prompt.

Go now! The food was absolutely amazing – bursting with flavors that were out of this world! Chicken wings, curry dumplings , noodle dishes, Penang curry and sticky rice with mango were all delicious. HIGHLY Recommended.

Right on 700 E opposite Whole Foods near downtown, this is a small book packed with a punch in terms of tasty Thai cuisine. Mostly street side parking – that parking lot behind the house is a bit crammed – the place bustles at the peak of its service. While the menu is the usual Thai dishes you would come across in any Thai restaurant, the quality, speed of service, and the taste will bring you back here.
One dish that stood out was the green curry fried rice. That was a first.
The brown rice bowl is something unique to this place. Made from black glutinous rice and jasmine rice, it tastes good and is filling
The portions are decent for the price. Price may be a tad bit higher but then it is a prime location too.
Menu is deep enough for you to go fishing into it multiple times. Definite place to add to favorite eateries in the valley.

Decided to do something i never do and order take out. I eat a lot of Thai food. Usually about once or twice a week. I understand it can be pricey. I get the same thing everywhere i go.

Tonight was Skewered Thai. Their prices are absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. I knew i was going to be upset as soon as my total was $60 and i saw the amount of food in the bag.

Neither the salad or my soup came with rice. No rice for the price of each item is INSANE. The salad was almost $20, because it comes with shrimp, and there’s not an option to get it without. Had a whole 3 medium, AT BEST, sized shrimp in the salad.

I’m furious at the amount of food for the cost. I will never eat here again. They’ve lost their minds.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

They take an insanely long time to cook your food. And they forget about you and don’t come to your needs if you need a refill etc.

Go to Mana thai much better service in millcreek/sugarhouse

The hostess has an attitude and snapped back at some of my constructive criticism. Seems mad that they have a lack of staff or lack of cooks. This owner needs to be investigated

My favorite in the area. Dishes are thick and rich with generous and perfectly cooked vegetables and meat. The black rice is awesome. Also love the exposed brick walls and ambiance in the dining room. The other Thai that I’ve had recently around here have been very watered down and boring compared to skewered. I only complaint is that the sugar content is a bit high.

This place is an absolute gem!
I tried the Panang Salmon Curry, and my friends had the Green Curry and Spicy Eggplant – everything was amazing It was my first time having Thai food, and everything was so good. I loved the flavors, and I kept thinking about it even after I got home.
Not only was the food great, but the staff was super friendly too. She constantly checked on our table and always had a smile on her face, making our dining experience enjoyable
I’m planning to go back. It was such a satisfying meal

Sad and disappointing. This is our 50th or so time ordering takeout/dining in.
Today we ordered pad Thai level 3 – sugar sweet, tossed. No flavor at all besides sweet noodles. As if it’s catered to someone with no food palate.
Drunken noodles level 4 – what a joke. Used to be spicy. Today it was barely spicy and lack any flavor.

Pick up time stated it will be ready for 6:30. Waited for 30 min inside to pick up.

Raised prices, lowered food quality. The last time we are ordering from them. This place used to be amazing and is now going downhill.
