One of the Best Bar Pizza’s around dating back to 1949. The decor is an experience as well. And as advertised, it may take a while before you’re pizza comes out, but well worth the wait. One of their specialty pizza’s is the baked bean pizza pictured. If you’re looking for something else, look elsewhere because all they serve is pizza.

Ok so service got 2/5 stars. The waitress was a nice lady. No issues with her, but there wasn’t many people there and the pizza took 30 minutes that’s long for a pizza that’s already in a pan. Next the atmosphere got 4/5 that’s good, it was cool, wasn’t mind blowing so I won’t give it 5. Now let’s talk about the food. 3/5 because it was average. Just that. I honestly have had better bar style pizza. I decided to go here because I will be opening a bar style pizzaria soon and I’m trying other places to see how everyone’s pizza taste. I already have a recipe and another thing, there was no lace on the crust.

Absolutely recommend you stop in and try this pizza. One of the best bar pies you’re gonna have and great service as well. Gail was very helpful with our selections and our food came out as expected. Cannot wait to come back.

Delicious pizza with excellent flavor and fresh ingredients! The crust is perfectly baked, and the toppings are generous. Orders are served hot and prepared quickly. The staff is welcoming and helpful. A great spot for enjoying tasty pizza with family and friends.

We love the crisp and tasty bar pizza here. On this visit we ended up waiting about an hour for our pizza, which made it seem like something got missed in the kitchen. The bartender didn’t mention anything about the delay, even though other people who arrived after us were already getting their food.

It was especially disappointing because we had brought our cousin from Texas to show him the place and we ended up feeling rushed since he had a flight to catch. They should have acknowledged the mistake or at least let us know what was going on.

That said, we still give it five stars because we know this isn’t the typical experience and the pizza here is usually excellent.

The South Shore Bar Pie that comes out of the oven under this roof, will blow your socks off, and possibly your boxers/panties. The linguisa pie might even blow all of you clothes off. You will not walk out of here being anything other than 110% satisfied.

#Barpizza The sausage pie was good and worth the $13.90. It did take 25 minutes after order to be ready. Service was outstanding.

Everybody raves about this pizza. In my opinion, it is good but not great. The prices are wonderful!!! Pizza was average with a greasy cracker crust…Simtty’s in Taunton is better than this. But the price you cannot beat.

Finally got to try my first South Shore bar pizza. I went right at opening (11:30 AM) and was first to place my order, but I still had to wait 30-35 minutes. However, there is a large parking lot, so I just waited in my car. The lady working there was very friendly. Note that this place is cash only; there is an ATM inside. By the time my order was ready, the place was bustling with diners.

The size of the pizza is perfect for one person, which is one of the defining characteristics of a SSBP. The first slice I tried was cool from the drive home. I heated up the rest of the slices, which was the move, since they tasted sooo much better hot. The pizza was very thin but stiff (no flop), with a cracker-like crust. The cheese had a rich, deep flavor with no pull. My only complaint was that it was too salty (I was thirsty for quite a while afterward), but I really enjoyed the pizza overall.

Lynn Wood Cafe is a hidden gem! I had the sausage, cheese, onion, and mushroom pizza, and it was absolutely incredible. The crust was perfectly baked, the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the combination of flavors was just wow! The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for pizza lovers!
