When someone mentioned needing a food truck for a wedding today, my immediate thought was The Great Foodini – only to discover with great sadness that this fabulous business has closed.
Five years ago at Celebration Park, I had what remains the best lobster roll I’ve ever eaten. That’s saying something, as I’d previously been told Legal Seafood in Boston was unbeatable. During my time living in the Northeast, I sampled many lobster rolls, with Woodman’s in Essex, MA holding the top spot – until The Great Foodini.
Their menu was absolutely EPIC for a food truck, which is exactly why I wanted to recommend them for a wedding reception. If I were getting married, hiring them would have been my first choice. In fact, that was the plan before circumstances changed.
To the owners: you are deeply missed. If there’s any chance you’ll return from Fort Myers and reopen at the new and improved Celebration Park facilities, know that you have eager customers waiting.
If anyone knows the owners, please tell them how much their business meant to the community.

Such a unique experience! The food is absolutely outstanding – we tried the mini lobster roll, the lobster corndog, the “soul dog”, the Korean fried chicken sandwich, and the potato pancakes (over two days)…truly out of this world!!! If you’re in Naples and don’t seek this place out, shame on you!

Family members told us about this park in Naples that had these permanent food trucks and a bar/view of the water – that alone would have been reason to go out of the way to visit this spot. Then we heard about this food truck that is a mobile 5 star restaurant that uses the best ingredients, prepared by an expert chef.
I dont say this lightly; it was the best lobster roll we’ve ever had AND I’ve spent summers in Maine and CT. We also ordered the Cuban sandwich and that too was the best Cuban we have ever had. The meat was smoked beautifully and the bread ratio was perfect and crunchy on the outside with all the right flavors. I cannot recommend this place enough and will be swinging by again on our way back to Ft. MYERS airport.

The salmon was stuffed with crab meat then perfectly seared & cooked to a medium temperature. Served over a bed of wilted greens with roasted garlic, remoulade & chimichurri sauces. This humble and talented chef was concerned about the way my “to go” order would travel but he didn’t need to worry; I only got as far as my car before being completely tantalized by the wonderful aroma. I got in, started the engine, turned the dial to B.B.King’s Blues channel and proceeded to enjoy one of the best salmon dishes that I’ve ever had.

This lobster roll was like nothing I’ve ever had before , and I grew up in lobster! David truly loves making his food a masterpiece and puts care and art into everything he makes. Anyone who likes lobster needs to go to the GREAT FOODINI in Celebration Park. David is a chef who loves making people happy, from his delicious food to the live screen of Times Square New York. Get one of the lobster dishes and you will not be disappointed. I can’t wait to go back!

Delectable… This was a meal for Kings prepared for a peasant and his dogs. I am thankful that this food truck has found an anchor in Celebration Park Naples. I have only began this tasting adventure. This food tour has many return stops planned to explore the extensive menu made be the artist and his wife.

High quality food at a value price. I love the variety of choices and explosion of flavors. So many types of foods from all over the globe. There is something for everyone. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Very large portions. Conveniently located and lots of parking.

Had the most delicious lobster roll. Cold lobster melted butter and a grilled roll. Being from Boston and Cape Cod I will say it’s the best one I’ve had here in Naples so far. David and his family are great. Try the lobster roll you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other items on the menu.
