Came here for a lunch date with the wife. Service was super slow and they gave food to the wrong tables. . . . There was only 3 tables occupied. Once we got our actual food it was really good. I’d only recommend making the food a bit more moist somehow. It’s been a while since I was there I just forgot to write a review. I just remember everything being on the dryer side.

Ignore the old reviews. They have so many great staff on hand now. Food is coming out hot and fresh. Drinks have been on point. Still recommend this place. Tbh, I eat here way too much probably

Seriously, How can I not give this place a five star! My family and I are visiting Idaho for a wedding, we decided on this place because it was one of few that were open passed 8pm. As soon as we get there we are happily greeted by the staff. The waitress was top notch, not once did I have to ask for a refill. I got the Cajun cod sandwich with fries, the cod was great and the Cajun aioli was spot on. The best part though were the fries, seasoned to perfection and perfectly cooked. My family all in all were completely satisfied with their food as well. Although we didn’t partake, I noticed that there were pool tables and an arcade game or two along with my about 8 tvs!. If your looking for some good food and entertainment. This place is it!

We ate here over the past weekend and absolutely loved it. The Frosty Gator has some of the best appetizers around. We ordered only appetizers and were very impressed and very much full. We ordered the Idaho Nachos, the Gator Super Jumbo Wings, and the Beer Battered Mushrooms. The Idahos Nachos is a platter with sidewinder fries with a lot of cheese, beans, olives, tomato, jalapeños, the whole deal. It’s a good addition to any order. The portion size is large.
The Gator Super Jumbo Wings were amazing. The wings weren’t exactly “jumbo” sized in my opinion, but you get a dozen with a full order. So you’ll have “plenty on your plate.” The wings come with blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing with celery and carrots, while on a bed of lettuce. I don’t even like blue cheese dressing, but I enjoyed this. I was even dipping my beer-battered mushrooms in the dressing. We got the medium flavor on our wings. This sauce is a unique flavor, almost too much of a vinegar flavored. But we just couldn’t help, but keep dipping wing after wing in the blue cheese. The combination was absolutely amazing. Our waitress said that she enjoys getting the hot and Bourbon BBQ glaze flavors for her wings, so we are looking forward to coming back and trying that combination. You must try an order of wings here.
The beer-battered mushrooms are hands down the best mushrooms in IF. I would reckon they were the best I’ve ever had. The the breading is delicious and the seasonings are so good. If you aren’t too keen of seasoning, then this may be a dish you skip because these mushrooms are well seasoned. The mushrooms come with a cup of ranch, another amazing combination. There is a lot of breading on the mushrooms, but that just means there is more to eat. The service is amazing here, one of the best in all of town. You’d be hard pressed to find better service, and we went during dinner hours on a Friday. The deep fried alligator appetizer wasn’t available due to supply shortages. But hopefully back on the menu in a month or two. Parking is on the east side of the restaurant. We are already planning on coming back and thinking about the dishes we will try then. I highly recommend the Frosty Gator.

My last day visiting friends in Idaho they graciously took me to this local spot. I asked for recommendations and they (my friends) suggested trying gator chips with anything I ordered. I opted for a pepper jack grilled cheese sandwich and gator chips. Both the chips (thick kettle style potato chips) and the sandwich were delicious. I asked for a side of ranch to go with the chips and that made it superb.
A nice last stop before flying home from my wonderful trip to Idaho. ☺

Dog friendly on the patio if they are on a leash. Service was fantastic and the food was great. We will eat there again next time we are passing through the area.

This place is GREAT! First off, when they make a mixed drink, yeah, they do it right! Service is always excellent here. Here’s the number one thing about Frosty Gator… Apple wood smoked wings. These incredible wings, sometimes throughout the week, I literally start thinking about the taste of these! Smoked out in the parking lot, fried inside, just going to the Gator for the wings is enough! Everything is great here, the hand breaded fish basket, omg, sooooo good! Big portions of fish, the salty breading is delish. Gyro, burger, nachos, just everything is really tasty. Pool table, punching bag, pinball… I see families and kids in here. Prices are great too. I can’t say enough great things about this overlooked restaurant.
