Went for the first and the food was pretty good. Portion size was nice. I got the salmon, fried rice, and veggies and thought it was flavorful. A tad bit greasy and slight salty but probably just the sauces I added. The pink lemonade is 10/10. The lighting is really dim and intimate. We went on a Monday evening..not crowded at all. Overall I would visit again.

Instead of grill they had us sit in the dining area. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT to. Get the grill where the food is fresher. The past couple of times they have not given us the soup or salad whether we sat at the grill or dining area. I had ordered the steak and shrimp, came out cold! The streak was super well done it was hard to chew threw and the shrimp didn’t taste fresh at all. Only thing warm was the rice as I was not served the veggies that is supposed to come with the meal. We usually like coming here for date nights but I think this will be our last. I asked for water and another beverage but only the beverage came out. Service was slow waiter check on us a couple of times after we ordered our food. They also had a group of friends come in because the waiter and waitress were sitting and talking the whole time we were there. Like I said if you want to eat here do the grill if not go somewhere else. It makes me sad to write this considering I enjoyed this spot. But will start exploring other options for this price get your money’s worth somewhere else.

Back for a second time. Food was quicker out. Sushi was good. The habachi dinner was mostly greasy with no flavor. Server was like half attitude half trying to make up for the ‘tude. Calamari was gross- soggy and chewy. Removed a star because how can you stay consistently bad. Felt rushed out. Very dark, can barely see your food

Stars off for – Expensive, customer service was ehh passable but barley, the sushi came out like 2 minutes before we got our check…
Place was clean

It was my first time going and first impressions are very important. I went at lunch time and first thing I noticed was how long it took to be seated. The place was empty and yet it took a while for someone to come greet me. The waiting area was old and the seats were torn. Finally sat at the grill and they gave me lukewarm soup with raw mushrooms floating in it. I ordered the steak and chicken and the show was pretty nice which is why I gave it 3 stars. The food was served and presentation wise it was nice but the food was lathered in butter, oil and soy sauce. It was very salty and greasy. I left feeling very disappointed. Not sure I’ll go back. Sorry guys.

But Jesus, it’s expensive!!

$103 Dollars for only two people!!, with an 18% gratuity already added to the receipt!!
So if you want to impress a lady and see cool chef do tricks with the food, and your rich, come here.

My husband is allergic to nuts which they accommodated, but his food took longer to reach him.
They use sesame oil.
So make sure you let them know ahead of time if you have allergies.

Anyone looking for a deal, not going to find it here.
If they are going to charge that much, they should add a back rub and feet massage.
Prices this high in a recession is crazy.

Friendly atmosphere and hosts. Enjoyed the foods and entertainment. We have been there with a family. It was a bit wait to walk in to the table but the host was very apologetic for not being there and she was super nice about walk us to the table.

Waitress was very nice and friendly. With 2 little kids she was constantly checking with us and making sure everything we needed.

Chef was funny and very friendly. Cooked a good portion of food and enough to go around. So much food and delicious

Definitely recommended.

We are desperately trying to find a place to go for GREAT SUSHI since moving from the East Valley to the West Valley a few years ago. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!! I asked about happy hour and they hostess said happy hour is from 3-6p and can be enjoyed at the table, not just the bar. We get seated and it takes about 10 minutes before someone comes to greet us and only after my husband started staring down the waitstaff at the far end of the dining room.

The waiter tells us there is no happy hour and hasn’t been since COVID started. I replied that the hostess might need to know this since she just told us there is a happy hour. We ordered margaritas and they were not good. The water also tasted bad, like it was tap water or filter from a dirty dispenser.

Bottom line- we ordered shrimp egg rolls – disgusting
97% of the menu indicates the sushi rolls all have some raw ingredients including the ones without any tuna or salmon. The waiter even said, “it probably means there are small fish eggs on top of them”….PROBABLY??? How did he not know his own menu?!?! We also ordered Hayashi roll, the Royal California roll and the spicy crab shrimp roll. They were decent but not Great or Amazing! We had shrimp fried rice and that was decent too.

The service was unenthusiastic and mediocre. Eventually the waiter told us that the menu has an error with indicating that the sushi has raw fish on the 4 or 5 items that actually do not have any raw fish ingredients.

Overall – we will not be back! They have a lot to do to improve their menu and staff to get a better outcome.

Got the chicken and steak plate. Chicken was delicious. Not a fan of the steak, but it wasn’t bad. The fried rice was delicious. It wasn’t much meat especially for the 34$ plus tax. Not a very big menu, but i found something i enjoyed. My husband got the noodles. Barely any noodles and really thin, but he liked the taste. I’m usually disappointed when trying a new place, but this place was delicious. Pricey for the amount of food given. It was empty, so we were seated and served quickly. My server didn’t check in except once, which i didn’t like, but my husband said he likes not being bothered. We were done with our food and had to wait a little while before the server finally came and gave us our bill. He didn’t charge for my husband’s bill. It was 60$ and change. Handed 3 20s and he asked if we wanted change. Of course we did. Not gonna tip almost 20$ especially for bad service. Guess he didn’t like that, so he suddenly remembered he didn’t charge for the drink and asked if it was fine if he took it from our change. We of course said yes. He came back with a $5 bill and no receipt for the drink. I feel he pocketed the money. But I can’t be certain. We still tipped.

Food was over cooked. Lobster was charred. Veggies undercooked. Last time ill be there for a while. Chef seemed high could not keep track of the orders leading to food being overcooked. Distracted cook forgetting butter. Rubbery shrimp. Medium steaks well done. Very Nonchalant attitude on the chefs behalf.

If your food is not up to your standard as a customer DO NOT EAT IT!!! they a have a strict policy about eating the any of the food if you have a complaint.

Edit: Chef in the review was an excellent chef from a previous visit which resulted in in our desire to continue to go back. We were serviced by another chef.
