Went here for lunch with my mother a few days ago. We arrived when they were just opening so there weren’t too many customers. The atmosphere was good being set in a historical building in downtown Cumming. We both ordered the Village Burger with fries on the side and 2 milkshakes. The burger with all the toppings was juicy and delicious while the fries were fresh and crisp. The milkshakes were perfect as well not too thick but also not too watery. Overall despite the high bill, the quality of the food made it worth our while.

Wife works near here, has eaten here before with co-workers, and since then told me how she would like to return with me in tow because she thought I would really like it as she very much enjoyed it. Finally went yesterday. Very good service, awesome homey feel inside. Burger was meh. Not enough seasoning in the patty, needs a thicker slice of cheese IMO, and the bun did it no justice. Many burger spots don’t take enough pride in their buns. A decent quality that can soak up the juices of the plants and the grease of the burger without crumbling is ideal. The VB bun barely held together and was more cardboardy than bready. Wife was even disappointed, it was not nearly as tasty as she had before she said. BUT the fries and seasoning were great, the onion rings were great, their version of a Chicago dog was pretty darn good, and speaking as a Grady baby who grew up in the South, the sweet tea was way too heavy on the simple syrup. All in all, I would definitely give Village Burger another shot.

Ordered a veggie burger which was good. Nothing extraordinary but I liked the burger and will be visiting again. Service was really good. Add their Village Sauce:) Fries were good, could have been more crunchy and will try if they have any toppings for Fries. I will suggest it and will visit by my self 🙂

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the Cumming location. I’ve ordered from the Lawrenceville location multiple times and have never had an issue, which makes this situation even more frustrating.
My husband placed an order through Uber Eats from the Cumming location, where we requested two turkey burgers, as neither of us has eaten red meat in over five years. A few bites in, we both began feeling unwell, only to realize the burgers were beef, not turkey.
I immediately contacted the restaurant, and the woman I spoke with was not only unhelpful but also extremely rude. Rather than addressing the issue, she attempted to justify it by claiming they’ve recently started using a “different type of turkey.” This explanation is unacceptable and frankly, dishonest.
This kind of oversight is not only negligent but also poses a serious concern for people with dietary restrictions or allergies. I expected much better and hope this issue is taken seriously moving forward.

First time trying. Burgers overall were meh at best. Regular white bun burger was a soggy fall apart mess. We paid additional to upgrade the second burger to a Texas Toast bun. I was expecting the TT to be toasted/buttered (i.e. Zaxbys or Canes) but instead I got a burger with super thick doughy, untoasted Wonderbread like bun… Went with the $5.50 onion ring upgrade as well over fries. The small styrofoam box had four cold little onion rings… what a waste of $$ and subpar experience. Who knows, maybe the DoorDash driver pillaged the rings since VB doesn’t package their to-go product in sealed packaging. $33 for 2 basic burgers and one order of onion rings — Really disappointing!!

This Village Burger is one of our frequent stops. The burgers and wings are great, and the fries are incredible. One of my favorite meals is actually the turkey burger. The prices are comparable to any restaurant (fast food or otherwise) that you see these days.

Tasty food, great fries and quaint booths. I really liked that it was build your own style and they get extra points for having malt vinegar for the fries. The fries were exceptional and the portions were massive.

It’s a small cool place to hangout, have a bite and drink a beer. The burgers are pretty awesome and so are the milkshakes. The fries are bit too oliy and over fried but everything else is perfect. Try the seasoned fries, grilled chicken burger or regular cheese burger and do not forget to try one of the milkshakes, I recommend strawberry milkshake. The fried wings you can miss them
