Food was good, burger was juicy and tasty, fries crispy outside, soft inside just like I like them, servings were just right.
Service was outstanding. Kersten (I hope I spelled it correctly) gave an amazing service, all smiles, patient, great explanation of the menues and specials.

I had a great experience here. I ordered the “Getting Piggy With It” burger and it was delicious. The burger was juicy, full of flavor, and freshly made. I really enjoyed every bite. The overall experience was very good, and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for burger lovers!

Good burger. Their grill is good and the meat is also good. It’s a gourmet burger and not fast food place. The execution is good. The fries are good. It their home made chips are really excellent. The atmosphere is on the dark side but it’s ok. They have their style. Not my preferred style but the burger is the show. If I’m around, I would come back. But it’s not the gourmet burger I would make a detour for.

I’ve always enjoyed The Works but, honestly, the service here is some of the worst I’ve experienced at a restaurant. Staff seem completely uninterested, inattentive, and slow. Getting someone’s attention is difficult, orders take way longer than they should, and the overall experience feels disorganized and frustrating.
It’s really disappointing to come to a place and feel like customers are an afterthought. A restaurant should at least provide basic, respectful service, and that’s clearly not happening here. The management seriously needs to address the service issues because it makes the whole experience unpleasant. Even more about their manager, I’m not sure how this person got the job.

Had a great experience at The Works Burger! The servers took amazing care of us and made us feel very welcome. The burger was really good—fresh, juicy, and full of flavour—and the fries were freshly made and perfectly crispy. Truly enjoyed the food and the service. Will definitely be coming back!

I’m surprised to see so many negative comments below. We love this place and always had a great experience. The best burgers in town. Great service. Today we were in a separate room and there were 3 families with loud kids. Service was impeccable as usual. Very friendly servers. They were so patient with us, our kids got wild there and I still feel bad about it. Kudos to the patient staff!!! Food was delicious as usual. We used to love this place, but in Ottawa region they got sold ! ( 4 of the 7 stores) the new owners got rid of all employees. The burgers are not as good and have less condiments, less taste . Same price, cheaper products including the ring tower. On top of all took 1 hour to get our burgers !!
We will never go back.

We had the pleasure of eating at the Works, and must say, an excellent variety of burgers, well cooked and large portions, our only negative is that some of our party are on restricted food portions and the Works has a policy of not servicing smaller portions (Kids Menus) to people over 11. In this day and age of cautious food awareness, I think restricting adults to larger portions is a bit outdated. Other than that, I highly recommend all the food here especially the onion ring tower! and W Burger. Excellent job The Works!
