I have had good meals here. A lot of them actually! But lately, it has been hit or miss. I typically get a Carreta Bowl with redfish, but the dish seems to change depending on the day. Consistency is amazing when the dish is amazing. I just wish that aligned here.
Otherwise, I adore the atmosphere here and it is a great place to chill when it’s warmer, especially the outside seating!

Absolutely horrendous. I order from La Carettas all the time and have never had an issue till tonight. I ordered their quesabirria like i do everytime i get takeout or eat in and the picture is what i received. I don’t know if they were being lazy bc it’s late or what but it looks like then just took birria meat and slapped it on a regular taco. no cheese and it wasn’t even put together. When i called to tell them the issue the manager tried to tell me they didn’t even have that on their menu…yes sir you do. i then got hung up on and had to call back, they said they would put the money back on my card hopefully it does. but this is just sad. If your opened ur quality of service shouldnt go down just bc its late. do better

Absolutely the most beautiful amazing place to Dine with the family or Date night for two! They have outside deck seating with a beautiful Fountain ⛲️ as well as Clean Well lit restrooms and outdoor dining area with table covers , it was raining the day we visited the restaurant,but it was so worthwhile! Best Food Everrrr!!

Very unique fine dining at Tope La with that southern Orleans atmosphere. Hospitality at it’s best from the front door till you leave. Excellent service with fantastic cocktails and foods. Crab cake and red fish is a must to try with pecan rice. Highly suggest to check out our f in the Hammond area.

First of all, this is a VERY BEAUTIFUL PLACE. Whoever is in charge of the construction and decorating of this establishment is the most amazing decorator, ever!
The food was a little bit too salty for me.
I ordered a burrito bowl. I’d give it a 2.5/5 for a rating.
It was quite unusual to see so many staff members employed and not doing anything except “hanging out.”
Maybe someone needs to reconsider how many of the waiting staff needs to be hired here just because of the young staff members not sure how to fill their time other than just communicating with each other.
The workplace ambiance was like walking into the diner that the teens worked at on the show “Saved By the Bell.”
My biggest rave is on how beautiful this establishment is from the inside-out.

First time here our service was amazing and the salsa was perfectly seasoned. The food was delicious. I ordered off the lunch menu and the hubby got off the main menu. He got the burrito not a fan of the black beans. I got the triple platter something new for me to try. It was good. Not a bad price.

No one even asked if she was okay they walked pasted her needing a napkin as if she dropped it and made it happen. This is a rude place and i wouldn’t recommended

Updated Review- The host was very polite and helpful. The restaurant was busy but he still managed to seat us quickly. Drinks had a normal wait time. No appetizers this trip. The time duration for getting our food was fine for being busy. Our meals were GREAT! Meals were hot and delicious. The restaurant atmosphere is fun and prices are as expected. Our waiter Ruby (Rubio) was really great, very attentive and friendly. Definitely an enjoyable experience. Will be coming back!

The fajitas were fresh, and the steak was not over done. The chicken was tender fresh and not dry.
The fajita plate overall had a lot of water/juice. Not a wood fired fajita like at other places. The fajitas were properly seasoned.
The kids did not like the meats blended with the veggies.
The salsa was very good. Not overly spicy. The chips were light and crispy.

One of the waiters was very sneaky, definitely had a lack of transparency, food is mid tacos and beer is better. Won’t be returning 🙂
