Wanted to try something new for dinner and was not disappointed. The food and service was great ( Thanks Katy). Will definitely be back for the prime rib. The steak medallions were delicious and perfectly cooked rare as requested. The fried grean beans and onions at the bottom were great with the ajue for the steak. The chicken fried steak was crunchy and perfectly spiced. Mashed potatoes and gravy were awesome. Green beans were meh. The wife liked the south west wrap.
Beautiful horse shoe bar with alot of seating and a stage.
Perfect old fashioned

The Boot Grill: Impressive First Visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first meal here. We went for ‘linner – late lunch – early dinner. The Country Western Bar theme is fun and lively, complete with a band stage (we’ll be back when a band is playing!).

Our server, Jar, was fantastic—attentive, honest, and enthusiastic. She offered excellent recommendations, making our meal delicious and worry-free. I loved the Prime Rib Tacos with mango salsa, and my husband enjoyed the grilled Cluckin Buff Sammie – grilled version. Jar was also highly attentive to his non-dairy needs. She had recommended the All American Dip Sandwich (also prime rib) but I never had prime rib in taco. so i opted for that.

If you’re looking for great food, helpful service, and a fun atmosphere, we highly recommend The Boot Grill!

P.S. Got a Boot Grill t-shirt!. Can’t wait to wear it!

I am from Minneapolis and I travel for a living and I have to say this was the best bar and grill in the Windsor area. The food was the best bar food I have probably ever had. The service was amazing and the atmosphere is so fun!!! Live bands are better than DJs in my opinion. 100/10!!

I frequently eat here when working in Loveland, and I did enjoy the wedge salad, except now $12.99 for a salad I have to make myself seems a little pricey. Green chili fries are a good choice, My BLT had one over cooked piece of bacon and one perfect. Green chili is very good by itself too! Karaoke nights are fun. Staff is always super friendly and polite.

So, I went to this place tonight, and honestly, the food was awesome, and the service? Top-notch. Everything was going really well until I needed to hit the bathroom. That’s when things got weird. This creepy dude started following me in there. I was like, “hey man, back off!” but he just kept coming closer, even as I was trying to deal with my zipper. I finally pushed him away and bolted out of there.

But here’s the kicker—the manager and the bartender totally took his side because he’s a regular. I couldn’t believe it! They even closed my tab since I reacted when he sneaked up on me. Talk about terrible customer service. Seriously, who does that?

We had the Cajun boil special and it was excellent. Also the carrot cake.. Plenty for 2. Fun atmosphere as we’re here eating and watching the first round of March Madness. We’ve eaten here several times and the food is always really good at a fair price.

Drinks are good, staff was nice, but the chicken fried steak was not what I expected for the price. It seemed like it was a frozen patty, and the whole dinner was lukewarm at best. I’ll give them another shot but I’ll try something different next time.

Reviewing Boot Grill as a restaurant only: it was underwhelming. It was “seat yourself”, so we picked a table and did. The waitress definitely saw us sitting there, but we sat for a LONG time before another woman came over and gave us menus. One minute later, the waitress came over to take our order, and we weren’t ready yet. We decided what we wanted, then waited a LONG time before the waitress came back. So the timing was really off. The rest of the way, our service was friendly, but not attentive.

We ordered the nachos appetizer. Maybe some people like the flavor of raw jalapenos. I’m not one of them. And most places give you a lot more food when you order $16 nachos.

The chicken fried steak had a little “especially good menu item” symbol next to it, so I tried it. The quality of the meat was better than most places, but the flavor was very bland. I want a lot more flavor from a chicken fried steak and gravy.

I failed to notice the “Kitchen Staff Gratuity” that was snuck in below the state, county, and city taxes, so I paid two gratuities, and that rubs me the wrong way. How about you just pay your kitchen staff a little more?

Bartender Kim was amazing. She provided options and suggestions, wasn’t pushy at all, kept my water full, and provided the best service I’ve received in the last five years. Food was good atmosphere was nice. They had line dancing both nights I was there. Will be returning
