I placed an order for two three piece meals, and the spicy meal had to be thrown away. The chicken was extremely dried out and definitely past its discard point.

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. Everytime we come here, they always get our order wrong. Last time we came in I ordered 5 strawberry cream cheese pies. They said they only had 3 and asked if I wanted apple instead for the other 2. I said that was OK. Got all the way home and all pies were apple. Tonight we came in and ordered a 5 piece blackened chicken meal with Mac and cheese and a side of pickles and a 3 piece blackened chicken (not a meal). When I got up to the window I double checked to make sure all the chicken was blackened. The worker told me I ordered the 5 piece classic and was annoyed when i told him i didn’t order the classic and he must have misheard. He was visually agitated with me and told his coworker the change and then told me it would me 20 minutes. I agreed to wait, pulled up front and they brought it out without the drink and the pickles. I drove through again and asked for the drink and the pickles. Worker gave me the drink (but no pickles!). I asked again for the pickles and he told me the pickles weren’t on the receipt! Are you kidding me? At that point my daughter was like, can I just buy the pickles? And he charged us $1.75 for pickles. I was livid and just wanted to get out of there before I said something I didn’t mean. Needless to say, I’m not at all impressed with their ability to take correct orders, take accountability for their mistakes and their customer service is TERRIBLE. Buyers beware. I won’t be coming back to this location.

We continue to have issues with this Popeye’s location… 90% of the time we purchase a 5 piece SPICY tenders meal, they throw in pieces that aren’t spicy. Which is super annoying, because there’s definitely a flavor difference. The last time we ordered, the entire 5 pieces were not spicy! And it definitely said “spicy” on the receipt. Do they run out of the spicy chicken and just say, “Oh well, just give them the non-spicy pieces so we can keep the drive thru moving”? It has to be something like that. And the tenders are often so overcooked, that a lot of the chicken is hard and inedible. I just wish this location would focus on improving the quality of their food, and on the kindness of the drive thru staff. We used to love Popeye’s so much! 🙁

We ordered a 24 buffalo chicken wing bone in. The guy in charge of the drive thru told us that they needed to make a fresh batch of bone in wings which would take 10-15 min. I opted for half boneless and half bone in buffalo wings. Well the guy gave us roasted parmesan wings! And to make matters worse whoever seasoned the wings just dumped the seasoning on so you got some wings that were heavily coated (too salty) and some with no seasoning. Needless to say it was a waste of money and waste of time to stop by there. Never again will we return!

Love that perfect bite! The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was classic. One of the few breaded chicken I’ve found in a fast food chain. You can actually eat everything without having to worry too much about cholesterol. The rice and beans side was also a good complement for a satisfying meal.

Bought two spicy chicken sandwiches from drive through. When we came back, this is how the sandwich bun is. Absolutely disgusting to look at that and we ended up not eating. This is such a bad experience with the quality of the food. If the bun is burnt, they should replace instead of serving the same to the customers.

There are two local locations. This one and another one just up in Smokey Point by Hobby Lobby. Same owner, different prices. If you get a two piece meal and ask for it to be all white meat, you’ll end up secretly with an additional $1 charge. The Smokey Point location doesn’t charge for the difference. I unknowingly paid the $1 and finally noticed it. I brought it to the manager’s attention and she refused to offer the same pricing as the other location. I asked for my money back since I hadn’t gotten the food yet. She went back, had me wait 3 minutes, then came back, gave me the food, a dollar bill and told me to never come back. Very rude. I’ve never returned and continue to frequent the Smokey Point location. Better wait staff also. Fresher food too!
