to my business and they normally knock it out of the park. I’ve always eaten here during the work week and this was Saturday. Different manager maybe? Some of their specials are only available through the app so I decided to try it. I ordered (and paid for) 3 jalepeno peppers but only got 1. I also ordered 2 wings and 1 thigh. I got 2 thighs and 1 drumstick. No wings. I didn’t check things because they’ve always been spot on. This won’t deter me from going back but it’ll be during the work week. Their weekend crew needs to get better.
Edit: About a month later
This location still knocks it out of the park as far as service and food goes but I have one small complaint. All these fast food restaurants (not just Popeyes) ask if you will be using the mobile app first thing. Problem is that although you tell them your order number and they tell you to just pull ahead, it winds up being slower than just ordering at the intercom. All of these places (not just Popeyes) need to figure out how to streamline the app orders if they are going to push it continuously.
The low rating is for the chicken. It is terrible. Barely any meat on the thighs, but about an inch of breading. If you want really bad fried chicken, go here.
I enjoy the red beans and rice and mac and cheese. The biscuits are okay. The chicken sandwich is an absolute winner.
But, the fried chicken… How is this place still open if this is what they specialize in? It would be 1-star if it weren’t for some of the other decent items they have on their menu that I mentioned. The fried chicken is embarrassingly bad.
>out of mild classics only spicy
>chicken we so dry and overcooked
>tell me those classic chickens were not dry
>i want my money back
>i feel like a peasant eating this dry food
Me and my boyfriend decided to order from popeyes and we were very excited to get some of our food. I have been to popeyes before and I have had the fried shrimp many times before, expecting the same thing as usual. Tell me why the “shrimp” came in the tiniest cup possible, and my “side” was more food than the shrimp. I highly doubt that would even feed a toddler. The sandwiches and mashed potatoes were surprisingly warm, even though I was fully expecting those to also be tiny and lukewarm aswell. We had also ordered apple pies (2) and a cheesecake. They forgot the cheesecake. The chicken we got was below room temperature, and tasted mediocre. Thank god at least the sandwiches tasted good. It seems like not only did they give me a “meal” that could barely suffice a toddler, forget one of my items, but you can’t even put a plastic fork in the bag? Amazing how this specific store used to be so good, only to turn into this dump. We should have went to Raising Canes, same price as here except it would have actually filled us up.
The first picture is the “shrimp” if you can even call it that, compared to my fingernail, if you can even see it because it’s so small. The other photos are how small the amount of food they gave us was. Don’t waste your money here, unless your Elon musk. In that case, please invest in making this popeyes actually good. I would capitalize the p in popeyes, but you don’t deserve that.
Update review:
Went here again recently because of low food options and wanted to give a second chance hoping it was a bad day last time. Sat in the drive through for 10 minutes, lady was so rude when we asked what was going on, and when we pulled up to the window she was still rude and didn’t even say hello or any updates on the food. we waited another 5 minutes and it seems like they can’t say anything nice out of their vocabulary, manager was in the distance at the counter giving dirty looks. Finally when we get our food, we tried to say thank you and have a good day and said lady who probably took our orders said “yep.” And slammed the window shut. Literally how is this place still in business because it baffles me. Gross, rude and can’t seem to get the orders right, ever. Makes the rest of their restaurants have a bad name.
They forgot something but when I went back to say something he apologized and then actually also gave me more fries than what I payed for because I didn’t know the portion was that small. So this is about Popeyes in general but ask for a large fry unless you are a child.
