Tried the whiskey-glazed ribs and they were tender with great flavor. The appetizers came out quick and hot, which was nice since the place was pretty busy. Drinks were solid too—bartender definitely knew what they were doing.
It’s not a fancy spot, but great for a casual hangout or quick bite after shopping at the mall. Parking’s easy and service was on point for a weekend evening. Would definitely stop back again for the ribs and happy hour specials.
I’m glad to see a Fridays still going strong. The Fridays in Rockville, MD was horrible. I was hesitant to come here because of it, but this was the Friday’s I remember.
The service was great. Very friendly gentleman service us. The food and drinks were all very good. I definitely suggest the ribs. The new fashioneds were delicious too.
Great experience all around.
The menu is extensive, offering a little bit of everything: classic burgers, ribs, pastas, chicken dishes, and their signature loaded potato skins that have become a cult favorite. The Jack Daniel’s glaze line of dishes—especially the ribs and salmon—remains one of the most memorable items, with its smoky-sweet flavor and perfect caramelization. Drinks are another highlight. Their bartenders take pride in mixing crowd-pleasers like mojitos, margaritas, and the famous Ultimate Long Island Iced Tea, all served with generous portions.
Service is generally upbeat and personable, with staff often joking or checking in at just the right moments. Prices are fair for the portion sizes, and the environment suits both family dinners and casual hangouts. Overall, TGI Fridays delivers a reliable and fun dining experience—comfort food, strong drinks, and good vibes every time.
We waited a long time just to be seated, and then waited even longer before anyone came to take our order. There was only one waiter on duty, and the staff member who seated us mentioned that he was “not on duty, just helping,” which made the situation even more confusing.
Overall, the service was very slow. The food was good, but the experience did not meet the expectations I have for TGI Fridays in the U.S.
If you are unaware, this is in the mall, not a standalone restaurant, you will need to go to the 3rd floor next to the movie theater.
Upon arrival we did have to stand outside the entrance for a little over 5 minutes before someone noticed and came to seat us.
Our waiter was great she started us off with drinks and we got the whiskey glazed sampler, very good, the ribs were the star of this appetizer.
For the meals I went with the 12oz New York strip med-rare, loaded mashed potatoes & coleslaw. Wife got the Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta. Oldest went with the pick 3 (ribs, chicken fingers, and shrimp). Other kiddos got Mac&cheese with fries.
Food: unfortunately my steak came out med-well to almost well done so I had to send it back. The manager was extremely helpful and got it taken care of, even brought out a new loaded mashed potatoes! My wife notes that the pasta did not have much shrimp or chicken, mainly a bunch of pasta which the Cajun sauce has a good kick to it but was a tab bit on the salty side. But still good. My son loves the pick 3 and for a 10 year old, I was surprised he almost ate the whole thing! The 3 girls loved their Mac & Cheese and the burger.
Service: besides the very slow start to the evening at the front entrance (which is why the -1 star) the waitress and manager more than made up for that with exceptional service.
Atmosphere: great atmosphere inside, had a good variety of music playing, sports and shows on the TVs have a casual sports bar kind of vibe.
Overall a great dinner as we close out this year of spring break. When in the area we would swing by for sure!
