Went for dinner on a Thursday night. We were seated right away in the bar. Great atmosphere with live music. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Food was top notch. The ribeye was a perfect medium rare. Yam fries were so yummy!!

100/100 recommend!

This place was absolutely amazing. Every single staff was so kind and so welcoming. Our server was so attentive. I couldn’t rave more about these hard working employees!

Not only is the staff so amazing, the food is even better somehow! Every single thing that touched our table was FABULOUS. The potato soup with bacon was amazing, so good after a cold day! The local apple cider was so good, and I didn’t even think I liked apple cider, but I will 100% be ordering that next time! The prime rib steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare! It was so good, all the veggies and potatoes on the side were great! The king dong chocolate dessert was AMAZING. You have to get this! It’s enough to share, but it’s so so so good! The sweet potato fries were amazing!

Everything about this place was amazing! The atmosphere is great especially after a cold day out, we came straight from the Nordic Spa and this was just what we needed!

It’s a little more upscale in price, but I PROMISE it’s absolutely worth it!

This by far was my favorite meal while in Anchorage. Perfectly cooked, fresh and creative. I was in a group and everyone loved their entrees and apps. The Mama Mia is best bolognese I’ve had anywhere and the salmon is just perfect.

Edit: changing my review.
Previously had posted some frustration about showing up to a private dinner. However, we made it down the following weekend and were sat immediately. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I had the ribeye which was excellent. My daughter had the kids chicken, rice and broccoli dish and my wife had the bipimbop. Everything was great and all the food we saw coming out to other tables looked fantastic as well. Worth the 2nd attempt for sure and would love to come again. Prices were fair as well.

Amazing dinner and great service from Ian!
This gets crowded so enjoy a drink on the patio, or shop at the gift shop next door. When you get seated have the tagliatelle with Ragu and the Alaska burger! Both are excellent!
The desert options are fantastic so leave room for one!

This was honestly the best meal I’ve had in a while. Our server was incredibly welcoming. Our meals were amazing. The Mama Mia! might be the winner. I appreciated the extensive kids menu. The Birds and the Trees was a great healthy option. Not sure how they cooked those carrots, but they were to die for!

Great local spot. Ordered the halibut cheeks lettuce wraps . Salmon bowl, and sausage pasta.
Food was great, service was pretty slow, the gentleman next to us sent back his food and ordered something else and it took over 20 min to get his next dish.

Went for Valentine’s Day and left saying this was some of the best food I’ve had. I’ve been to all of the nice places in anchorage and the valley, Club Paris, Sullivans, Simon & Seaforts exc. although I love all of those places, Jack Sprat truly sets itself apart from them. Every time I go im fully satisfied with the menu and the dish I choose along with the wine. I wish I could pay rent and live in a chair there for the rest of my life.

Came here after the AWCC. There was not a long wait to be seated. The vegan nachos were definitely worth the hype. Coffee was good and helpful for chasing the northern lights. I enjoyed the fish and dessert. We did also have their daily soup which was very spicy and oily.

This is a great spot to eat for quality food, vibes, etc. I kinda wish they had more to their menu but they still offer great food. Their burger is one of their best options (I’m sure their salmon is better I just haven’t tried it). What really makes them great is they have a high quality dessert! I feel I can never find a good dessert at a restaurant because it’s always some dry crusty cookie/cake with corn syrupy ice cream. Jack Sprat has a great chocolate olive oil cake with mascarpone! It’s perfect and would definitely get again.
