Nice clean restaurant, friendly staff good service. The food was bland, and the chicken patties tasted and looked like they were dropped in the deep fryer for a second time. Definitely not fresh.

Party of four. It was Sunday and it was dead. My parents dragged me here for the $11 special and mom had this bag thing that you’re supposed to get a steak and pasta meal for if you bring it in. The waitress told my mother that dad couldn’t get the Sunday special if she used this bag on the same check (nothing in writing said this, only our waitress) so dad had to get the build your own pasta that was $5 more. And her steak wasn’t a whole steak like it showed on the picture of the bag. It was “some steak” and mostly mushrooms mixed into pasta and half a slice of lasagna. My $11 special was very watery and bland. I finished the first plate but my bf had to convince my to get a refill just so I could at least get some worth out of it and just bring it home. The waitress was also arguing with my mom but part of that was moms fault as well. The table next to us was not cleaned very well and there was food on the floor the whole time we were there. Wasn’t a good experience overall.
UPDATE: the waitress just messed up our check and charged my bf for 3 meals and my dad only for all the drinks. And she almost forgot to take off my mom’s promo meal before that.

My daughter and I had a late Sunday evening meal. The service was excellent. I had the excellent wedge salad and lasagna. I almost forgot to take a photo. The atmosphere had a dozen other diners, but it remained an excellent atmosphere to have good conversation without straining the ears. We shared a tiramisu that we enjoyed so much, we bought another to take home for my wife who knows an excellent tiramisu when she tastes one. Expensive? Perhaps. Will we do it again? Yes. Plan to stop by for their lunch specials when I have a need for Italian food.

Fantastic Lobster Ravioli! Bread with dip is excellent as well. The atmosphere and decor are fun and inviting with a casual feel. Friendly staff and great food. I did take out and the food held up well during transport and the atmosphere was fun and friendly while I waited. Well done!

I literally drive an hour to eat here when I want Italian. The food is FRESH and made to order clearly. I use to be a big fan of Olive Garden until my husband took me here to eat in July 2025 – I have not eaten any Italian any where else but here. Food is superb, staff is so friendly, the chef is rocking that place!

So I hadn’t been there in a long time. I was feeling nostalgic because last time was with my daughter who lives very far now so I tried it out around 4 pm. The food was awful and I spent $40+. I ordered the combo lasagna spaghetti chicken parmesan. Everything tasted like it had been sitting there all day even the mozzarella sticks…$10 for three dried sticks. The only thing that was good was the bread. I wish I would’ve just ordered that. Sigh so disappointed

Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday evening. Hubby had the artichoke spaghetti, my son had the seafood rigatoni Alfredo and I had the chicken scampinni. Appetizer was the mozzarella sticks. Dessert was tiramisu. From the beginning to the end of our visit our server was attentive and pleasant. Food was delicious. Every bit of it. Portions are large and I had my leftovers the next day for lunch.. and it was just as delicious day 2.

Overall experience was terrible from the start. When you walk in and right off the bat, the host that seats you has on sweat pants and a t-shirt, you might be concerned. After seated it was about 10 minutes before we even got greeted and asked for drink order at which time we were ready to order appetizers and meal. Served cold bread with oil. We ordered waters with lemon. No lemons and water tasted like dirt. Why wouldn’t you serve filtered water? Everyone knows how bad the water tastes around here. Salad was okay except for the way she sat them down. Apparently she wasn’t our server. $9.49 for 4 flat retangled cheese sticks, awful. Especially since they came frozen right out of a box. Lasagna was good, shrimp and chicken fettuccine was flavorless and not worth taking leftovers home. $11.49 for a slice of dessert just unacceptable. The tiramisu just so so. Overall this place has gone way down hill. If you are going to charge high end prices, at least treat your customers like the type of restaurant that matches your prices and serve home cooked food. We could have bought the same thing at walmart in the freezer section and went home and cooked it ourselves. We will not be back.

What?! We didnt know there were still a Carinos out there. It did not dissapoint! Jazz was our waitress and she was perfect. The food was just like I remember. The wedge salad, the blackberry cream soda, the spicy shrimp and chicken. Dont forget the bread and roasted garlic in olive oil. Awesome. Even had a desert. Great experience.

Took about 35 mins for our food. Table was very sticky, not clean at all. I asked for another set of sliver wear because of soap stains on it and the napkin around it was old. The table diagonal from us hadn’t been bussed or clean. It had been like that since we showed up. It wasn’t cleaned until we were almost done eating. Next time we are in Waxahachie, we will be eating somewhere else. Overpriced for just two people to eat.
