A local recommended this spot to me, calling it their favorite place in town—and after trying it, I completely understand why. The fries were incredible: perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with toppings without getting soggy. I ordered mine with blue cheese, chicken, and buffalo sauce, and it was honestly one of the best loaded fries dishes I’ve ever had.
The staff was very friendly, and the customers—both locals and visitors—were welcoming as well. The only downside is that the restaurant is very narrow and small. If you’re with a group larger than 2–3 people, you likely won’t find seating and may have to get your order to go. I was grabbing mine to go anyway, so it wasn’t a big issue, but it would’ve been nice to have the option to sit.
Regardless, it was absolutely worth the walk and worth stepping inside. If I’m ever back in the area, I will 100% return.

It absolutely love getting fries from Friskie Fries wherever I’m downtown and in the mood for them. They’re open 7 days a week. It can be a grab and go type of spot or you can sit in and enjoy your foos. They have a variety of options of fries ( classic cut, sweet cheeks, or waffle fry ), and toppings to choose from so you aren’t just eating plain fries with a sauce such as ketchup, unless that’s what you want. I usually get the classic fries Miss Potato Head ( Smoked Bacon Sharp Cheddar Sour Cream Fresh Scallions )

Friskie Fries!!
Short walk from Residence Inn, love the neighborhood, easily accessible. The restaurant it’s self was a vibe, music playing, greeting upon entry. I couldn’t decide between the Friskie Fries or the Disco Dotty, so I asked the employee she said go with the award winning Dotty so we dove in:
Disco Dotty:: rich brown gravy with quality cheese curds that melted with the gravy. Fries were fresh, crispy and salted. They were mixed well, gravy and curds top to bottom and I’m a sucker for the presentation in the Chinese takeout box.
5/5 For dotty, as a lover of classic poutine I wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend stopping in and checking it out.

So I love chili fries, they’re something of a comfort food of mine, and I recently moved out here for work. Unfortunately, this meant losing not only the local place which served the ambrosia of chili cheese fries (full bodied chili, just the right amount of kick, a medley of real cheese on top, grilled onions if you simply all for them, and 9$ for enough to fill a large to go container) but additionally the chain I enjoyed isn’t this far north. I’ve been desperately searching for replacement for the last near year I’ve been out here. This place was recommended to me, and upon seeing the namesake order was chili cheese fries—well, I was a little excited. Doubly so when I saw how highly rated it was, and how many awards it won for poutine, a not too dissimilar dish.
Imagine my surprise and disappointment when the chili, the cheese, and the fries were all fare you could expect out of gas station. The exact same weird liquid nacho cheese and watery chili you can put on your hot dog at 7/11 can be found scooped generously into a large Chinese takeout style box.
Now, I can’t say they were bad. I do, at times, feel the craving for the humble gas station hit dog. Sometimes that low effort, simple food just hits. However, for the price they charged, and the mere fact this establishment is somehow proud enough of this dish to give it that #1 spot on the menu, to allow it to bear their name? It didn’t even clear the Chain fast food joint from back home. I even wondered if I had caught them on an off day somehow. That they had to resort to hastily purchased canned cheese and the cheapest chili they could find and simply forgot to inform me.
Have had much worse food, but none more disappointing.

Definitely it a great foodie concept. Loaded fries of all kinds is awesome in itself.

Delicious fries with delicious flavors on top. The cheese curds were great. The marinara sauce that comes with them was as hot as molten lava.
No water cups- get a bottle or a beverage if you aren’t getting a shake. The Oreo milk shake is great.
No tables really, but some good stools along the window so you can watch the world while you eat.
Make sure you ask for a receipt before you order or you might not be able to get one.

This is a great spot to grab a quick lunch downtown. It’s within walking distance of the mall and there’s plenty of parking in the area if you decide to come here directly. The stool seating is cute and they had a local artistic magazine free for access on the bar. Our server, Alyssa, was great and incredibly personable. Above all, the fries are bomb. You can tell they’ve got their recipes down pat. I’ll definitely stop back in the future if I’m in the area. Thanks again for the good eats and the good vibes! -Vicky & Matt

Got the Buffalo Chicken Fry’s. As a New Yorker (From Upstate) I M proud to say they did them justice! Awesome food and a plenty large portion! Plus it’s got a groovy interior. Definitely happy I ate here.

We decided to stop in here after the RV show today at the convention center for the 1st time. It’s with in walking distance from anywhere pretty much downtown. I know they have a food truck, but the brick and mortar is pretty small inside. But, I guess they don’t need a lot of space to serve gourmet style fries. They had a good assortment of different types of fries. I went with the buffalo style. They were very good, and they give you a solid portion size for the almost $14 that they cost. If you’re looking for something fast and filling, this is a solid spot downtown. If you’re hoping to dine in, they have limited seating (maybe 10 seats in which 8 are probably bar style). So know that before strolling in with a big group. Other than the place being a little small, the food and staff were great. I’ll be back to try something new, and grab a few more pics.

Great location, clean, friendly environment excellent customer service unfortunately the food just was not good. I feel they used all the cheapest ingredients. I could not enjoy the chicken, fries, or tomato sauce. I went with the “Fowl fries” my boyfriend had the steak and cheese fries which were even worse. Definitely a place for someone with a strong stomach! We each had a few bites and got rid of them.
