I had such a great experience at The Point DC. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted and had an excellent waitress and attentive servers throughout the night. Everyone was genuinely kind, and the food came out quickly.
I started with the mussels and they were so good I had to order another round. That’s how delicious they were. The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh, so fresh and flavorful. The seafood risotto was also absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were complex and well crafted.
I loved the atmosphere and truly enjoyed every part of the experience. If I’m ever back in DC, I’ll definitely return. Highly recommend.

I was visiting from Dallas and my friend recommended this place. I definitely enjoyed all dishes I had here. The staff was very friendly and helpful picking the menu. Low key but modern design and atmosphere. Parking was iffy since I had to pay for parking in the same building w this restaurant. There is free parking across the street but it was raining so I opted to park on the building parking.

First time here and it did not disappoint. Came for lunch with zero expectations. We had the option of sitting inside or outside- everyone was friendly. The menu had great options (lots of GF). We settled on the mussels with fries and hubs had wings & ceasar salad. The mussels come in a coconut curry broth that is amazing- good heat with ridiculous flavor.

Wings were good too…grilled which us always a bonus!

Service was great! Pablo was friendly, attentive & knowledgeable.

Parking is a little tricky – ended up finding street parking.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at The Point in DC and could not have picked a better place. This beautiful waterfront restaurant set the perfect backdrop for a special occasion and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish.

The seafood risotto was rich creamy and full of flavor and the mussels were absolutely ridiculously tasty. The broth was unforgettable and so good you did not want to leave a single drop behind. Every bite reflected care quality and thoughtful preparation. The drinks were excellent and expertly made.

What truly elevated the experience was the amazing staff. Our server Danielle showed outstanding hospitality and was attentive warm and genuinely welcoming. The host Oscar was equally gracious and professional and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

This was the perfect place to celebrate such a meaningful occasion. We definitely picked the right place in DC and look forward to returning.

My husband and I have been patronizing The Point since their opening some years ago. We have never had a bad meal or experience. Today our server, Ana, was fantastic as she was knowledgeable and attentive. The bread pudding is a must try!

If I were a restaurant, I would be The Point D.C. ♥️ effortlessly beautiful, great taste, and unforgettable every time.

From the moment you walk in, The Point DC wraps you in stunning décor and a warm, modern ambiance. The lighting, the greenery, the details everything feels intentional and elevated. The service is always attentive without being overbearing, and the staff makes you feel truly welcomed.

The wine and cocktail selection is top-tier. The food? Consistently delicious fresh, flavorful, and plated with care. This is the kind of place you bring people you love, because you know the experience is going to be good from start to finish.

If you have all-around great taste, The Point D.C. is definitely for you. One of my favorite spots in Washington.

the service started off good but then took a weird turn as we were being stereotyped. before we even ordered our food i asked the server to bring my boyfriend a birthday dessert and he said ” yeah yeah of course i got yall” we were only coming here for that and drinks but some people still got appetizers and food and i then attempted to order mussels and was told the kitchen was closed i said okay can we just get the dessert and he was then saying you cant get it because the kitchen is closed i told he thats aint my problem i been ordered it and you knew the kitchen was closing and didnt ring it in before it closed…… he said he can get us one apple pie walked away and sent a manager back the manager finally agreed to get us some dessert thats set of fire and the server brought the check when he told me the kitchen was closed it was 225$ then after the dessert took the bill balled it up and put a new one in the book being 280$ cause he decided to add gratuity witch is illegal without telling your table or have to posted on the menu i felt judged our entire experience because we were young and black . he didn’t assume no tip and the manager just as wrong for adding the gratuity i been serving for 7 years i know when im being stereotyped and talked about in the kitchen.
