Very unique dishes that surprise the pallet. I ordered the enchilada dish and it was so good. There was a hint of sweetness that made this dish absolutely delicious. My husband had a dish that he too loved. The service was fabulous. We got right in on a Thursday evening and we’re served quickly. The signage on the building g is very small an easy to miss. We will be back.

Absolutely amazing! The decor an tableware were so whimsical and homey with the essence of Frida surrounding you. I’m so happy Pelham has gained another amazing restaurant with great prices. My husband and I can’t wait for them to get their liquor license! Our only complaint is the small sign outside of the location. I had no idea they were in the Mi Pueblo plaza, we pass by the time. Frida Kahlo has definitely gained regular customers!!

Wasn’t sure what to expect. So I asked for some guidance from the waitress and ended up ordering the Veggie Tostada and adding chicken. I was blown away by the fantastic flavors and freshness! The jicama, strawberries, asparagus and all the veggies were great with their homemade dressing. This was a real unexpected treat! I’ll be going back and taking others with me!

Good food. I enjoyed my meal. If you are looking for something different then this is for you. It is a little pricey but worth it. I LOVED the salad that came with my meal. I got Tacos De flores de Jamaica and my husband got The Frida potato.
The sides are quite small. It might be hard to tell with my pictures. Eveything was good. I can’t wait to go back and try something else along with the fruit water.

We went during lunch time. We had a great time and ate wonderful food. The dishes are plated beautifully. They obviously care a lot about not just deliciousness but the experience of food. We all ordered different dishes and all were delicious. We also ordered churros and those were excellent as well. The staff is very kind and accommodating and we loved the idea of a Frida Khalo themed spin on a traditional Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed it all and will be returning soon.

Be patient because they’re short staffed, but good food takes time too.. There are so many unique menu items, and the atmosphere is quaint. They plate the food quite beautifully and with care. It’s clear that everything is homemade. We met one of the owners who was very nice and gave us free desert on the house (they were slammed with just 1 waiter and we were there for a birthday). Some of the dishes are intensely flavorful (the pork quesadilla and steak tacos) , others are a little less flavorful (chicken enchiladas). The chicken sandwich had mixed feelings about. It was unusual and interesting but needed a better bun perhaps. I wish we had tried at least one vegetarian dish (there’s plenty to pick from). The dishes are very reasonably priced though for dinner, and it’s been one of my favorite meals in a restaurant in while. I’ll be back for sure . If you want to get the best bang for your buck, ghe kids chicken fingers are huge and homemade (same as on chicken sandwich ). $4.99! (15 for sandwich)

I really enjoyed the crema poblana. It has a wee bit of spiciness to it, but not overwhelming. It’s cold today and the soup was delicious and comforting. I also had the esquites but didn’t get a picture of it. The seasoning and creaminess of the esquites is fantastic. The prices aren’t high, but it is more expensive than your standard tex-mex or taqueria style restaurant. Take a look at the menus before you go to get a general idea. The staff is friendly and cheerful. I’m really looking forward to another visit.

Super delicious! I love trying new things, & was able to convince my lovely boyfriend to join me. They were swamped, with their 4 employees (that we could see) & English isn’t their first (or probably second) language, but, their TRUE language is FOOD! SUPER delicious, filling FOOD! This was amazing! I ordered the Enchiladas Callajeras & my boyfriend ordered the El Alambre. Blew us out of the water with how good this was! We will definitely be back! I hope they have wildly great success here, expand, & grow even more successful! Can’t wait to go back & try more!
