This is a good place for quick service and good food. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly, my drink was always full with refills. Salsa and chip refills were expedient as well. El Rodeo feels very festive with a great environment.

I have been coming to this place for years and never experienced what I experienced today. I ordered 2 complete meals. Each order is supposed to come with a bag of chips. A male there told me no, that was not correct. Then a lady came a took my to go order to the back and then downsized everything in my order. I am done with El Rodeo. I will never come here again. I spent $17.09 and this meal ain’t even worth it, for them to downsize my order.

We usually love coming to this place, but here lately things haven’t been all that great. Last night was the last straw. I won’t be going back. Not only did it take forever to get our order, but the food was disgusting. My order had chicken and shrimp in it as well as queso. The queso was cold and lumpy, the chicken was cold, and the shrimp was chewy. I sent my order back and I’m pretty sure they just popped it in the microwave to warm it up. It was the same plate, but warmer. Customer service was poor and slow.

We usually like this place especially since its local, but tonight i ordered to go at the counter. Sorry for being inappropriate, but the person that waited on me was almost incoherent with his jibberish accent and was more concerned with other things, leaving the register for a while in the middle of my order, than taking care of my order. He flew through punching up the invoice, had me sign the receipt and trashed everything else, and never provided me a detailed copy of my order. Brought out the order in unconsolidated plastic bags and left. Got it home and discovered a smaller than ordered queso and the three tacos , which should have been separate, had been dumped into one big pile of ingedients. Food was cold by the time I got home, barely over a mile away. One of the items I ordered was on special but I don’t think it was discounted on the bill and I feel the total bill was exaggerated. Menu cost should have been $28, bill was $34, way more than the local taxes would account for. I left no tip. I think they are not very trustworthy and will not be going back to this place. Can they get 0 stars?

This is by far the worst El Rodeo I have ever eaten at. The place is dirty and the service is terrible. I have been to a lot of El Rodes and will never go back to this one. Food was okay but service was unbelievablly terrible. No other guests were in the place when I went there this past Saturday for lunch. All the employees were all sitting together at a table toward the back of the restaurant and would not hardly service us. We would give our order and they just went back and sat down, never turned it in until I finally said, did u turn our order into the cook, they said sorry we forgot. Finally got it after waiting forever. Even the cook was out there sitting. Worst service I ever experienced. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE!

I used to frequent this restaurant and the food is good, but one night I was eating here and I was licked by a waiter, I kid you not! I was with my daughter in a separate booth and the waiter was talking to me and I believe tried to kiss me but missed. I am appalled and would never recommend this place to anyone. I am trying to get the man fired, but they seem reluctant to do so. Awful.

I love El Rodeo, but 2 stars for my experience here. I wanted something customized to my dish and couldn’t believe they weren’t able to do it because the cook didn’t like to do anything outside of what was on the menu. Never had that happen before. I’ll stick to Guadalajara.

Horrible! Wanted to sit at the bar and have tacos. They didn’t tell me there wasn’t a bartender during the week. Lady sat me at the bar, had to translate my drink order, to some guy behind the bar, after he made my drink, I never saw him again. In fact, I didn’t see ANYONE for another 20min. A waitress from “the other side” came over, and asked if I’d be helped. I told her no, I was ready to order. She said ok, walked off. Another 10 min later, a waitress comes over, acts like I’m an inconvenience for being there, and takes my food order. She starts walking away as I’m finishing my order, as I’m asking for sour cream. When my order comes, no sour cream. After eating some of the meal, no one checking on me, I had to walk around and find my server, to get sour cream. She could tell I was upset, so she started asking me if I was ok (from across the bar) every 10 minutes, instead of 20.
I got a large margarita, ala carte shrimp taco, and shrimp cocktail. Total bill: $45! That’s crazy!
Anyway, I worked in restaurant for a long time. I tip, 30% no matter what….. PLUS! I only tipped $5. Worst service I think I’ve ever had. Just disappointed…..
