I would have liked better lighting inside. The food was authentic, heartily portioned, and delicious. I had a burrito with beef tongue.
NOTE: In the dark of night, the red exterior paint is very dark. Look next to the white building or you might have to circle back.

When I first went to juventinos 7 years ago I got and get the carne asada ALWAYS!!! IT USE TO BE THE BEST!! NOW, TONIGHT I ORDERED THE CARNE ASADA AND IT WAS LOADED WITH HUGE FRENCH FRIES! NOTHING LIKE IT USE TO BE!!!! I NEVER had French fries in it before!!! I’m disappointed very much!! It seems like once these places make a lot of money they start screwing the customers!!! WHY!!??

Doesn’t matter who pops up from around the corner, I’m always met with a smile and warm welcome. Been a regular for years and just here to tell you to show love and you’ll get it back every time. Any issue I’ve ever encountered has been solved immediately upon bringing it up and these lovely humans have had my back countless times. I’ve been gifted a handmade leather wallet from Mexico, I’ve gone to pay and had my card declined and they have told me not to worry about it …and they share their favorite candies from back home with me. We love Juventino’s for being open late, we’re there every other Saturday night out feels like. My partner loves the two burrito combo and gets a side of chips to eat the refried beans with.
I love their enchilada and taco combo, comes with so much cheese and lettuce. The food here is always good and you get a ton for a great price from nice people. Local Council Bluffs people know this is a hidden gem.

This was my first experience here. I ordered carne asada fries. The best $13.95 I’ve spent on fries in a while. So much meat! My mom and I split. And we each had leftovers, which we repurposed as breakfast tacos the next day with some scrambled eggs and tortillas. Hence, my side note below.
Side note: I wish the guacamole, pico de gallo, and crema were served on the side for to go orders. I will know to ask that way next time. Mostly for reheat purposes.
