When in town we make a habit to have Lunch here serving Authentic Mexican food, and offers Texmex also. Today we ordered the small Parrilladas Combo which was more than the 4 of us to finish. Going have some decent leftovers tomorrow. This place never disappoints, its a little dated inside but the service and quality is very good.

We shared a couple Monday thru Friday lunch menu items…. The ground beef chile relleno was tasty, came with refried beans and rice and I chose flour tortillas. My wife got the ground beef enchiladas, it came with the same two sides. We enjoyed sharing both meals. They have three locations, this one in Stafford, one in Rosharon and another in Houston. Great service.

The wifey and I are fans of the salsa. No complaints! Both my boys enjoyed the street fajita tacos! My caldo de pollo hit the spot!! Huge soup with all the fixing.
The service was good. Waters were always full and we were always being checked on. The restaurant has a cool vibe with plenty of seats. We are definitely coming back!

El Regio will serve you old school Tex-Mex in an old school Mexican restaurant environment and you will enjpy it. Live music on Friday night. Smiling servers. Lots of menu choices. Good portions and prices.

The atmosphere is lively, the chips are nice and hot, and the service is great. The beans are delicious. I personally recommend the alpastor tacos. Perfect place. Barbacoa was amazing, with no fat, just meat.

We had a celebration with a group of 20 they made a table for us a head of time. We had no wait time when we arrived. The food came out quick and was hot. The mini tacos were delicious. Everyone had the correct order and was happy. The waiter and waitress did great!

I’ve been coming to this place for years, never had a problem until today. I waited forever for my food and I went to the drive thru. I was asked to park in Curbside 2 and I waited over 20 mins. Nobody was in the drive thru so I circled back around and asked the cashier was the food ready and she handed it to me. If that was the case, I could’ve stayed waiting in the drive thru in the first place. When I got home, the food was a one star at best. My soup had some kind of wire piece in it…looked like something from a brillo pad. The quesadillas were pitiful and dry, barely any cheese and the tortillas for both meals were both severely undercooked. The refried beans were SALTY and the rice was dry. So disappointed I wish I could get my $27 for 2 meals back!

The food is amazing, fresh and tasty. The cocktail Tai Mango is as big as my face, love it! Too many delicious food we haven’t tried, must come back soon. Great hangout place for family and friends.
