Love Love Loved this place!! Great atmosphere, food, and drinks!! And yeah I did it… I added a pic of the bathroom because I was blown away! If you can get street parking it’s a plus, but definitely either way stop into this place! You will NOT be disappointed! Our waitress Cheryl was great and we enjoyed hanging out here enjoying the entire experience! I got the bottomless mimosa and the earnest breakfast! Partner got the jack n coke and the Nashville hot Mac n cheese!

Fabulous brunch! Enjoyed my hot marg cocktail. Tasted the French dip and KFC chicken sandwich and I ordered the Poutine. All were delicious but I liked my husband’s KFC just a tad bit more than mine which again, was amazing. Definitely want to come back for dinner and the the nighttime cocktails. Parking can be a pain but we didn’t have an issue. Loved the hostess and server!

Arrived to have a couple cocktails and light dinner at 330 pm before going to Ascend venue for concert at 7 pm. This place is within walking distance of my Airbnb on 2nd St. This area is progressing in a positive way but frustrating with parking and construction. Didn’t know happy hour only with food and drinks. Unexpectedly met the nice looking owner, very personable while trying to prepare the bar for the busy eve, and was willing to be experimental with a Hemingway. Although I was super early in a Tuesday crowd, the environment, the setting, the conversation with the owner, being a solo female, felt totally safe. Parking and construction did suck but I know this area is progressing for the positive reason. I had the ham & cheese sliders and garlic truffle fries. Kitchen was out of pineapple for the slider. Food was ok. I did like the options but was wanting more of the dinner menu. Totally understand the time of day – limited to happy hour menu. I really wanted to try the deviled eggs but chose this night to not have. I tried a couple Hemingways and the Steve McQueen cocktails. I would for sure come back. There are SO MANY better places to drink and eat than the common places of Broadway area. Places like this. Please consider local business like this

Had dinner at Earnest in Nashville tonight. Food and atmosphere were both great. We got the mussels to start. For dinner we each got prime rib but I got the beef and he got the pork. Shared the chocolate torte with blueberry coulis. The mussels were good but needed some additional seasoning in the sauce. The mac and cheese was good but once again just missing some pop of seasoning or flavor. Our dinners were both amazing and so was the dessert.

Started with the Caesar salad and it may have been the best Caesar I’ve ever had. The filet was good but nothing special. Also order the Brussels sprouts and they were delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Overall while the meal was good I felt a little pricey compared to other places in town.

Went here with my new second wife during a downpour recently amid a tornado warning with sirens wailing. Running in as we splashed through puddles along the sidewalk and the din from the rain and siren, the place looked closed as we approached, and voila, we were greeted with complete silence, as it was open and dimly lit, with very few people inside. My new wife and I had a romantic dinner in a very private corner before heading to a honky tonk to dance until 2AM. Service was good and drinks well made. Will definitely revisit this place the next time I have an impromptu debaucherous rendezvous with my new wife in a new place. Love it.

Highly recommend this place! We stopped in on a whim on our drive home. We happened to come in 10 minutes before the kitchen stopped serving brunch. The waiter who was phenomenal, assured us that we were good and would still be able to get food. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and professional. The ambiance is very relaxed and inviting. The food and drinks were amazing! Get the Nashville hot chicken mac, you will not be sorry. If we are ever back in Tennessee we will definitely go back! Go for lunch, dinner or just drinks…you won’t be sorry!

Stopped in for brunch, and was blown away by how simply perfect that Bloody Mary was that Julia made. Also, I ordered the Bagel and Lox ‍♀️….so good so good! All their menu items are fantastic, as well as the staff and energy. Great place.

Oh my dang this place is so good! Myself and some work colleagues “took a chance” on this place in hopes of a good lunch before departing from our first business trip in Nashville. They did not disappoint. It’s location is completely untelling of the amazingness inside. Probably the hideaway part in the name. The atmosphere inside is very attractive, modern rustic with dark wood throughout balanced with lighter aesthetics. Though not cavernous in size it feels like a space with nooks and crannies that are inviting Ideal for a group or solo visit Great server, warm and knowledgeable, without being insistent or intrusive. And good, boy the food was excellent. In a group of four it was an excellent opportunity to see the variations of offerings. From ribeye sandwich to the salad to the Korean fried chicken, everything tasted superb and was equally plated to compliment. Even the fries,my word the fries, they were so good we fought over them. If ever I come back to Nashville, I will return to this out of way jewel.
