Dinner was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect—elegant, quiet, with beautiful lighting and great music. The service was excellent. Our waiter, Daniel, really took great care of us and provided overall amazing service.

The food was delicious overall, though a few dishes were just okay. Honestly, the real stars were the small plates—I’d definitely recommend going heavy on those. The calamari was great, the beef carpaccio was really good, and the squid ink pasta was amazing. Those were the standout dishes for sure.

And the hazelnut torta? A must-get. Absolutely delicious.

The drinks were also really good, especially with so many great mocktail options available.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it and would go again—I’d just be a bit more selective with what I order next time.

North Italia is hands down one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve visited so many times with friends, and it has become a must-visit spot for us every month. I’ve tried all the locations across Virginia, and every single one delivers consistently amazing food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The quality, flavors, and overall experience never disappoint. If you’re in Virginia and love Italian food, North Italia is absolutely the best and a place you’ll keep coming back to.

North Italia holds a special place for me because I’ve celebrated so many of my main life events here — my birthday, my graduation dinner, friends’ graduation lunches, girls’ dinners, and many more memorable moments. Every visit feels just as special, with amazing food, great service, and a warm atmosphere. It’s truly my go-to place for celebrations

Great service and excellent food. The Squid Ink Tonnarelli is superb, and our table also tried their new version of lasagna and liked it very much. We all enjoyed both market boards and a tie-dye Margherita pizza. Good selection of desserts too. And although we didn’t get it this time, the white truffle garlic bread is her. Came to this location after less than satisfactory service at Reston. Happy to see the service at Tysons location matches the food’s great quality.match

went on a tuesday evening, place was pretty busy from the start. the food and service was phenomenal! our server was attentive and took the time to help us look through the menu. although it was busy, food did not take long to come. the white truffle garlic bread was a great starter. the rigatoni vodka pasta had so much flavor, would definitely get again. the pig pizza was also delicious! overall, will definitely be coming here again to try more of the items on the menu!

My team at work went here for a holiday lunch. The restaurant prepared us a seat for 21 people, which were nice, but there was no private dining room. It was in the middle of dining area next to others and it got pretty crowded and we couldn’t even hear the people talking at the same table. Not a great place for a large group event.

The restaurant had lunch special menu where you can choose an appetizer and an entree. I ordered a bruschetta and a shrimp scampi. Bruschetta was just as expected. Nothing special about it. It came with four pieces of bruschetta with squash, cherry tomatoes, and other veggies on top. Shrimp Scampi was definitely a solid pasta dish that I enjoyed compared to other Italian places in the area. The noodle was cooked at al dente, slightly chewy but not mushy. The sauce and shrimp went really well together and the parmasan cheese on top added flavors. I would go back to this restaurant to try this again.

My coworker next to me ordered pasta with grilled chicken and I tasted a portion. It was very blend and simple. Again, nothing special about it.

Parking is tough. You have to park in the garage in the next building and the restaurant only validated two hours.

I will come back here to try their other signatures dish.

This restaurant has a bright and lively atmosphere, making it a great spot for friends, family gatherings, or casual meet-ups. The interior is modern and spacious, so it doesn’t feel cramped. While it can get a bit busy and noisy when crowded, the vibrant energy creates a fun and enjoyable dining experience.

The food is well-balanced — not too salty, but full of flavor. The calamari was light and crispy without being greasy, pairing perfectly with the dipping sauces and making it an excellent appetizer (or even a great pairing with drinks). The seafood pasta had a fresh tomato-based sauce with a rich depth of flavor that was very satisfying. The pizza came with a thin, crispy crust, and the toppings blended beautifully with the melted cheese, making each bite delicious.

The cocktails were refreshing and light, complementing the food perfectly. They weren’t overpowering but rather crisp and pleasant, adding to the overall experience.

Overall, this place offers a bright and energetic vibe with tasty, well-prepared dishes. It’s perfect for having a fun time with friends. Just keep in mind that it might feel a bit loud if you’re looking for a quiet, intimate dinner.

North Italia has a modern, casual, and stylish vibe—definitely a different feel compared to the Reston location. The food was delicious across the board, and the service was excellent.

We ordered the arugula and avocado salad to share, and the server thoughtfully split it into two plates for us, which made the experience even better. The combination of great food, attentive service, and a chic atmosphere made this visit a real pleasure.

Came here based on a lot of tik toks and reviews about this place. We did not enjoy most of all our food. The garlic bread with truffle ricotta was good and so was the classic board and the Caesar salad. Had to send back the calamari, was very chewy and overfried and tasted freezer burnt. We all ordered chicken parm and the sauce had WAY too much fennel in it. Never have I ever had fennel in my sauce anywhere and I’m Italian. The pasta with the cream sauce served with the chicken Parmesan was very good. Overall, I would not return. The Olive Garden would have been better. Would have went to trattoria in Clifton but they didn’t have any reservations. The server was extremely nice but took forever to refill drinks and any other basic requests.

My fiancé and I visited North Italia today, and it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. We were seated around 1:30 PM, and it took 45 minutes just to get our drinks. When my drink finally arrived, it was incorrect and the glass had visible red lipstick stains on it.

At that point, we were completely uncomfortable with the level of cleanliness and attention to detail. We decided to leave the restaurant immediately, because if the cups aren’t clean, it makes you question everything else being served.

We were really disappointed, especially considering the reputation this restaurant usually has. This visit definitely made us hesitant to ever return.

We went for Valentine’s Day so they had a pre fixe menu, but everything we had was delicious. They were also able to accommodate most dishes to be gluten free.
