We had lunch at Bubba’s Burgers today and it was terrific!! Old school atmosphere with hamburgers cooked on a large grill, old fashioned milk shakes and awesome french fries!

Great local place to go to on Kauai for burgers. They were a little on the small size, but they were satisfying nonetheless. Flavor wise, excellent! The fries were nice and crispy too! Yum Yum!

Fantastic prices for being on this touristy island. Burgers were great. Nothing fancy, but the best I had this trip. Maybe a bit heavy on the onion, but if too much, take some off. Of course we got the stare down by the resident rooster on the sidewalk.

If there was a dive bar for burgers, this would be it. Food was ok, staff attention was lukewarm and the place could use a good scrubbing. If you’re hungry and a food truck won’t do, this may be a one time option.

Great place to sit inside with a view of the ocean and enjoy an amazingly juicy burger. That burger went down way too easy. Loved my teriyaki burger with pineapple. Expect messy goodness and one of the juiciest burgers ever. Fries are alright, nothing special. Enjoyed the banana shake. They use the small straws but with the warm weather is sucked up easy enough. We chose to sit on the deck facing the water. It’s bench seating and we even met an adorable golden retriever on the dog friendly patio. Server was friendly and shared the place has been around over 30 years.

Expected burger to be a bit larger for the price. Yes, it does clearly say the weight of the burger on the sign but it’s not a standard size or one seen in other restaurants so hard to gauge what end result will be untill you order it.
Not a major complaint, just saying it looked a bit underwhelming at first glance for a $6 burger

We tried the Kaua’i Burger and thought it was just okay – the teriyaki had a spice that didn’t quite work for us. My husband ordered the standard cheeseburger, which was a bit heavy on the sauce; he said he’d probably get it dry next time.
The strawberry shake also tasted like it was made with lower-quality ingredients, which was a little disappointing.
That said, it’s a convenient spot if you’re coming straight from the beach and want something quick and filling. Just don’t expect a standout food experience.
