Awesome place to stop on a road trip. Amazing burger and the “susie-q”s are a creative and delicious way to enjoy fries differently. Really loved this spot and the burger and fries were everything I wanted in a road trip lunch for a solid price. Took a little while but worth it.

Such a unique spot! They serve so many different items. The quality won’t blow you away but the experience is worth it. Suzie Q fries were so fun and are huge portions! My friends and I loved it. No real complaints, it is what you would pretty much expect in terms of prices and quality of food. Would recommend!

Had a solid meal here while stopping for gas. I got a cheeseburger, fries, and a chocolate milkshake. The burger was great, though some of the ingredients were lopsided. The fries were great after adding a little salt. The shake was fantastic and reasonably priced.
Staff were friendly as well. My only other complaint is it took quite a while for my food to come out, but if that’s the price to pay for such good food at a non-chain restaurant, so be it.

Right off the interstate. Fast and easy service. Cute little diner. You’re able to eat inside or you can walk up to the window and order. Cute atmosphere inside, love the vibe! Gas station is right across the street to load up on gas before you get right back of the highway!

The flavor of the burger was great!
The fries were not plural. It was one long fry piled in a heap and all stuck together. They were greasy to the point of being soggy.
Service: The workers were more interested in doing their chores than taking care of customers. We ordered 2 burgers, 1 hot dog, and 1 order of fries and were there for almost an hour. Most of that time was spent waiting for our order.
Atmosphere: Small town throwback vibes, I loved it!
Overall, I’d stop there again if traveling through despite the issues. I love diners and drive ins. I’m also a very picky burger eater so I always remember a good one.

My parents, who have both passed, used to drive over an hour to Swope’s. They loved the food, atmosphere and little town vibe. We now love to make the drive for their Amazing Suzy Q’s, fresh food and yummy shakes. Definitely Always great food!

It wasn’t busy when we visited on a Saturday late afternoon.
We ordered from the counter and got our food quickly. I tried their oreo shakes, and it was ok.
The ice cream cones were good.
It hasn’t changed much from my last visit.

Parking was a breeze. Facility was very old. Staff were nice and pleasant. A lot of food choices. Not much room for dine-in. 1-person toilet.
Greasy but really tasty food. A little pricey for the kind of food and atmosphere.
3 burgers, 1 chicken tender, 2 vanilla cones, 1 shake, fried cauliflower, 2 fries.. about $50..

The BEST burger I’ve ever had! The Suzie Qs come out shaped like a fry basket and are absolutely delicious!
