Classic bar! Lots of TVs. Good looking bar bites. Great selection of both domestic and import beers and drafts vs bottles. I liked it. Will probably be back to watch some sports

I ate here twice on our visit since it was closest to the hotel. Both nights were really crowded, but the food came out quickly. Everyone was in their own little world, so I never struck up a conversation with anyone other than the bartender. He was cool. Maybe that’s a NYC thing? We tried the steak sandwich, burger, and wings. All were good. My favorite was the wings. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood.

Strolled in here before a show at the Beacon. Seated at a high top in the bar area and was lucky enough to have Jordan as our server. When she brought two blue cheese cups with our wings – one each for my friend and me – was blown away. Then had the tasty burger. Everything was really great – exactly as it should be.

This place is always packed but table service or bar service is always excellent. They treat you right. The wings are big and bountiful. The burgers are great and really good drinks. I wasn’t impressed with the quesadillas though. Not enough filling.

I was refused service at this bar/restaurant because my registered service animal was sitting quietly on my lap. She was well-behaved, calm, and caused no disruption whatsoever. Despite this, the bartender refused to serve me.

This establishment clearly does not understand or follow service animal laws, which is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Service animals are legally allowed in restaurants and bars, regardless of size, as long as they are under control—which mine was.

Because of this experience, I will never return and will be sure to let others know not to support a business that discriminates against people with service animals. I’m honestly surprised this situation escalated to the point it did, as it could have easily been avoided with basic knowledge of the law.

Very disappointing experience.

Thank you for your response. I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

However, I do need to clarify several important points. I was told I had to put my service animal on the floor before my dog ever accidentally licked the edge of the bar. At that moment, I was still waiting for service. The brief lick occurred during that exchange and was not ongoing behavior.

Additionally, prior to any interaction with me, I overheard two bartenders making a joke along the lines of “is it a service dog or dog service.” That comment set an unwelcoming and dismissive tone from the start, and the staff’s demeanor toward me was rude as soon as I sat down.

While I understand restaurants must make judgment calls, the ADA is clear that a service animal may sit on a handler’s lap if that is how the animal performs its task, and the situation could have been handled with far more professionalism and respect. The issue was not confusion—it was how the situation was addressed.

I appreciate that you say you are continuing to educate your staff, and I hope that effort prevents future guests from having a similar experience. However, based on how I was treated, I will not be returning

Very busy, fairly unremarkable bar/restaurant that’s been around for many years. Decent drinks, beer and food. Bartenders not so communicative. Food was okay but not terrific. Three bathrooms, which was nice; no waiting. Asked to pay cash, but by the time I got back from the bathroom a different bartender had already swooped up and charged by credit card. Extra 3%. No big deal, but still…

Not the first time here and it’s a good local neighborhood bar. They have a ton of outdoor seating, in front, on the side and a large curb side shelter as well.

Lots of craft beer on tap and full menu. Service was prompt, hostess seated us outside right away and server was right over. They brought a water dish for my dog. I did feel the mozzarella sticks were pretty skinny but I guess those are the times.

Overall great place for a brew and food.

Food is extremely average.
Service was good.
Atmosphere was great.
Wouldn’t be a go to place for me, but if I’m over that way for a comedy show it’s a good stop in between early and late shows

Great quick service, awesome beer selection, and fantastic food. They really utilize their space while keeping it comfortable and not creating a cluster of people. Whitney, Tessa, Stephan, John & Monica are MVPs!

Stopped by before a show at The Beacon. Good beer selection. Decided to share the loaded nachos with pulled pork, it was a large portion, and very tasty. Not so with the Buffalo cauliflower wings. The taste was OK, but the breading was soggy, mushy. They should be fried til nice and crispy, then tossed in sauce right before serving. They tasted more like a bad frozen meal from a store and microwaved. The server was great and was able to take it off our bill.
