Came in tonight, Sunday 3/1, and waited 45 minutes before anyone would take our order. I asked other servers several times who our server was, and they told me Alejandra was and even pointed her out to us. She walked past our table numerous times and didn’t even acknowledge us once. Luckily another nice gentleman came over and took our order after we mentioned several times that she wouldn’t come over to our table. Come to find out, she doesn’t like someone who was sitting at our table and that was why she wouldn’t serve us. That is so unprofessional. The least she could have done, was tell another server earlier on and asked someone to pick up the table. This place is usually great, but tonight’s experience was very unpleasant.

The food was alright. The service and atmosphere were ranked based on how my sister and I cackled at the bartender topping off a few tall DosXX with a different draft beer. Unsure if I’ll go back after that, but if I do, I certainly won’t be drinking. Though it makes you wonder what else they do that sort of thing to behind closed doors in the kitchen.

I asked for plastic ware and the host said they charge 50 cents. I told him I should have gone to La Hacienda on 38th and Lafayette Rd they don’t charge(where I normally go). He then said tell the cashier and they will remove it. I ordered Horchata(rice water) no ice in a to go cup. The server beings it not full! Is it to compensate not being in a large red cup? The server said it is measured, and because I didn’t get ice she couldn’t fill the cup up! I also couldn’t get smooth guacamole! The same server told me it’s pre-made and I can only get avocado slices! I haven’t been here in a long time and was torn between La Hacienda and El Rodeo to cater a big event! La Hacienda it is! Not coming back!

I can’t express just how much I LOVE this location!! The staff is so personable, they make you feel like apart of the family. They’ve cleaned up the restaurant as well. Fresh ingredients, well seasoned, and the BEST margaritas in town!! Be warned, those margaritas are not to be played with!!

$26.99 fajitas for two! Only served with a small portion of overcooked rice and beans for two. The side salad was a joke and missing sour cream! The waitress only visited when taking drink orders, delivering food, and handing us the check. Another young man gave us more salsa when asked. This location needs a full remodel
