A nice little place located at the Belair Beach Hotel. Great burgers, salads and such. This year our group caught a nice big Wahoo fish. The Gingerbread folks prepared our fish for a group of 8 for dinner. It was a great meal for all! I’ll be back next year!

Close to the town and shopping areas. Very close to the beach but it was a bit rough during our stay. The pool is a bit small and the area is tranquil with an amazing view of the cruise boats when they arrive and leaves. Not bad at all

Sorry to say I had the worst eggs Benedict I’ve ever had.
Bacon on the side completely dried out over crispy.
Hollandaise sauce not too much taste.
I’d order something else.
Was wondering why it was priced pretty low.

Very disappointed in this restaurant. After coming here for 30 years, and now visiting with my 4 year old with severe allergies an employee completely disregarded our concerns. We chose this restaurant hoping for a simple meal, but unfortunately our experience raised concerns. We asked a straightforward question about whether there was any dairy in a hamburger, as our 4-year-old has a severe dairy allergy. The owner completely disregarded the question and did not provide a clear or helpful response.
For families managing serious food allergies, clear communication is essential. We hope this is something the restaurant will consider improving in the future. We will not be returning until they have better policies.

What a place! the food was great, and the atmosphere was really wonderful next to the beach. It did take a while for the food to come to the table, but overall we were very happy with the experience. I highly recommend the breakfast, and salmon and egg special.

We were staying at Divi and not very happy with food or service there… Walk down the beach and found Gingerbread Cafe. Very lucky for us and it has been our go-to spot for breakfast the entire week. We’ve had dinner there a few times, the red snapper was outstanding. The service and staff are good but you have to remember everybody is on “Island Time”. Enjoy your vacation and relax. They will take care of you.

Sat for an hour for the Captain’s Breakfast … must have had a mutiny in the kitchen. No sausage, four sad little potatoes and very little bacon. My child ordered French toast but it wasn’t like any French toast I had ever seen … more like blackened French bread. People who sat after us were served before us.They were very nice and apologetic about the wait and comped our drinks (two cokes and a coffee), said the cook mixed up the tickets but even still. I was looking forward to the sausage and we couldn’t have them fix it because our taxi was leaving in 10 minutes. We literally had to inhale our breakfast. The lobster dinner we had on Wednesday was good, but service was slow then too though. My youngest said the calamari was good but my son said the burger lacked seasoning. I want them to be better because it is such a lovely place, tucked away and quiet with a great view, overall the staff is very friendly.

Great Happy Hour from 3-6. Great dinner as well. We had the Surf and Turf and it was great. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Damage (sp?) treated us great and makes an amazing PainKiller!

Great version of an American-style breakfast/brunch. Solid smoked salmon eggs and breakfast sandwiches… mimosas and screwdrivers too 🙂 (Pardon the partially eaten photos!)
