One of my best meals in Miami – we enjoyed each dish, great service & outline of items to order. Each dish gave us little bursts of flavor, all distinct – very good. Great & breezy ambience with attentive service, well deserved gratuity.
The lamb & salmon bowls had their own distinct flavors, with bread, falafel & the Moroccan cigars (beef/lamb rolls), delightful bites
Note that generally in Miami the gratuity is embedded into the bill automatically. How’ver Motek’s crew definitely are on top of things to give their customers a great culinary experience. Definitely check this place out, reservations are recommended. They do have a few outlets.
Families take note, happy hour menus from 2-5pm, mon to Friday do not apply to minors. This is a shame bcos it def gives a wide choice of food items for first timers to test out.
Overall – great experience & I’d recommend to folks as well as come back if in Miami.
Keep it up
(Unlike the establishment in my last review – which was a disappointment)

They had me at warm pita. This pleasant and low-key café in the heart of the district Collins Avenue is a great spot for a light bite or, if you prefer, a full meal. They do everything quite well, but several of us really preferred the vegetarian options: hummus, baba, falafel, and more.
The ambience is informal and the service is excellent.
I’d advise you to leave a little room for the excellent baklava. It pairs perfectly with mint tea (no sugar).

Great foodie spot! Home made bread, they dont cook with seed oils, and our server Manuel was so wonderful! 5 stars!!! I dont eat pork, this place has the most incredible chicken schnitzel sandwhich…I mean, home made challah bread bun which was lightly toasted on the inside of the sandwich, 2 thin delicate crispy chicken patties battered in sesame seeds and perfectly fried, cabbage slaw, homemade pickles and perfectly ripe tomatoes….and large enough to split if you get the yummy za’atar fries and 1-2 mezz.

Motek is an absolute gem. The Mediterranean flavors are authentic, vibrant, and beautifully balanced, every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and full of soul. Our server Manuel was amazing. His service was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely kind. He made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down. Exceptional food paired with exceptional service, this is hospitality done right.

An excellent restaurant (I have also dined at the South Beach location).
Every dish was outstanding – beautifully presented, well seasoned, and consistently successful.
The only comment regarding the food is that the dessert was overly sweet and a bit excessive – perhaps better suited to an American palate.
I was also informed that the meat served is kosher (without official certification), which is a great solution for people like me who keep kosher but do not require a formal rabbinate certificate or a restaurant that is closed on Shabbat. This is something worth confirming directly with the restaurant.

Really quite good overall. Nice space, good service, very tasty food that’s well presented.

I think this is a great spot as a small group and ordering a variety of dishes to be shared; a number of things on the menu definitely fall into the “small plates” vibe. Like their ceviche is more of an appetizer portion than getting a full bowl ceviche as a meal.

I’ll have to come back here another time and try more things.

Absolutely love Motek. Victor is truly amazing — I honestly can’t be in the area without stopping by. Every visit is a must-indulge moment. The food, the atmosphere, the energy… there’s a reason this place is always packed. Thank you for the incredible hospitality and attentive service — I was consistently checked on and felt so well taken care of. Thank you, my favorite spot!

Delicious meal! I love Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food. I was with a pescatarian so we got primarily vegetarian dishes and a salmon skewer. The salmon skewer with lentils and rice was wonderful. The crispy cauliflower was fried well. It’s flavor was more sweet than spicy. The original hummus is tahini forward. The crispy cabbage salad was lemony and refreshing. Really enjoyed it. I will definitely return and try the meat dishes. Also, all meats are kosher. While they will take walk-ins, it definitely is worth making a reservation. We had to wait about 45 minutes to get a table for 2.
